ha ha... It's quite amusing to read the answers/explanations given to you by the mainstream "christians" who actually have no clue about the bible and/or God's purpose.

God did not create people with down syndrome, nor are they "his special blessings" etc.

When Adam and Eve disobeyed Jehovah God and sinned, imperfection entered their bodies. They were initially created perfect and would have lived on earth forever. But since they sinned, death and imperfection entered their bodies and this has been passed on to all other humans ever since. The down syndrome is a result of this imperfection. It was not the making of God.

No. A feature of Down Syndrome is a great deal of affection with no anger expressed. I don't think that this is good for anybody. Although Christians are not supposed to have malice, wrath is appropriate. “Be wrathful, and yet do not sin.” (Ephesians 4:26)

People with special needs are God special chosen people with a specific work to do for Him. They are to make us realize that God cares for all and they have a special way of reaching out for Him to specific people God puts in their paths. God doesn't hate anyone. People with down syndrome are a special blessing from the Lord.

What makes you say this? God loves all His children but I suspect that He has a soft spot for mentally impaired people because they do not sin, unlike the rest of us.

"He will take pity on the weak and the needy and save the needy from death."

BS.

The "weak and needy" have a much higher fatality rate than people who are more well off. Just drop by any theird-world country.

They all seem quite happy when you meet them.

This would tell me that God must love them.

Of course he does. They can't read the bible, they don't know how to pray, and if they go to church they don't understand whats going on. These are essential if you want to get into heaven.
