I have already switched to a dye and perfume free detergent, so that may rule that out as the cause of the skin irritation. Thanks.

Cetaphil sensitive, Q.V body wash, Aveeno body wash, A'Kin body wash and Redwin body wash.

I have used the Cetaphil which is excellent, as is the Redwin body wash. Most pharmacists/chemists have the Cetaphil and Q.V, I am not sure about the others though.

My allegist suggested the Q.V.

I have a similar problem. It turned out that I was allergic to fabric softener. I now use Dove to clean my skin. Dye free, perfume free detergent on my clothes, and Dove sensitive skin deodorant. It's mostly a matter of testing things until you find the combination that works for you. Good luck.

I have the same problem. I use Dove, which is a cleansing bar that doesn't actually contain any soap. Nutrogenia also has several bars that do not contain soap.

Have you tried Castille soap? That is the most hypoallergenic one I know. Otherwise, I would see a dermatologist for suggestions.
