There is Excel of course which is a simple spreadsheet program but is adequate for displaying a bank account statement style system of running totals.
If you do not have Excel then you can get a free equivalent called Calc from OpenOffice.

Try the new available GnuCash for windows. It was only a UNIX Linux flavor, but it has been ported to Windows. It is free. You also can buy Money or Quicken.

This might excited you.
Check out this free Office Accounting Express from Microsoft.
I have installed it recently for testing purpose.
Looks cool, but it is quite huge in size.
Check it out at http://www.ideawins.com/

Pen and paper.
You can use Quicken or MS-Money, but unless you can keep up the entries daily/weekly, its more work than whats its worth.
