South Korean = kan koku (South Koreans call themselves 'Han guk')
North Korean = kita chousen
(North Koreans call South Korea 'Nahm Joseon'
But most south Koreans hate to be called 'Josen' or 'Chousen'
Because Joseon dynasty already collapsed in 1910)

For extra info, you add the word 'jin' if you want to say korean person, or person from korea.

choseon is the dynasty that fell in 1910 and is not welcome as a description of th people of Korea [south] but they call them selves Guk [people] from Han [their big province around Seoul] or Hanguk [Japs say Kankoku phonetically trying to pronounce it] Answer is Kankoku [last letter silent 'u'] like can of Coke
