Confirmation to a young child is hardly accepting Christ as their Personal Savior.

Sadly true.

See The Almanac of Evil for 20 centuries of it.

I grew up surrounded by Catholic priests, bishops and nuns. People who had survived torture and imprisonment in POW camps for their faith, people who had helped Popes.

I grew up believing that anyone who ever said anything bad about the Vatican were liars, were hypocrites.

Then I grew up.

PS. Some days I wish for those times again when good was good and evil was evil. When the world was clear. When the truth was hidden. Ignorance was truly bliss.

Well, I agree that a child can't possibly be "confirmed" in their minds because a young child cannot possible begin to grasp the concept of god, but I don't think the Roman Catholic Church has sent even one person to hell. Not just because they don't have the authority to do so, but because hell does not exist.

NO they sent their own self there by NOT Accepting Christ. The same way it is today in this time in which we live. When Christ sets up His 1000 year reign it is going to be a time of Discipline TO TEACH the Spiritual Ignorant. God is a Fair God and WE ALL have a chance. However in today's world THERE IS NO EXCUSE for this Spiritual Ignorance that is going around at the Speed of Light.

Did you know the Roman Catholic Church doesn't send anyone to Hell, and in fact God does? But He is willing none shall perish; the ball's in your court.

It is sad when I see one who is deceived by obvious proof text methodology in understanding the Scriptures. This allows someone with anti-Catholic bias to twist the Scriptures through eisegesis to mean what they wish to denigrate and cast aspersions on Christ's Church and the faithful.

If one is to believe Scriptures in their entirety one must understand that the Scriptures tell us several things about salvation. One of those undeniable teachings is that one cannot enter heaven with unforgiven sin, which includes original sin, and without having been Baptized, which there are three ways of Baptism, water, desire and blood.

The Church, who is instructed by Jesus to bring the Children to him and not deny them, Baptizes them to be obedient and to allow them the same privilege of eternal life that those of a more advanced age can share. The Church being charitable can do no less than to call to salvation those who are the most Innocent and helpless among us so that they will be among the chosen, in Christ.

In Christ

People are sent to hell by their own actions or lack of them, not by any church.

What the sacrament of Confirmation is:

It's essentially your anointing and baptism in the Holy Spirit. Scripture says that in order to enter the kingdom of heaven, we must be baptised both by water and in the Holy Spirit. A person's anointing with the chrism (blessed holy oil) on their head at Confirmation signifys this baptism and anointing in the Holy Spirit.

Sacraments are visible signs, imparting God's grace and remitting sins, instituted by the apostolic fathers of our Church in accordance with what Jesus, the ultimate head of the Church (Ephesians) instructed them in, and passed down by unbroken apostolic succession and authority of the successor bishops of the Church, in an unbroken line of divinely-given spiritual authority.

First, where do you get your information? Have you somehow gotten your hands on a roster showing how many people have gone to Hell and how many have not?

I comment is to point out the ridiculousness of your question. None of us have any way of knowing how God judged someone. It just can't happen. We pray they are in His good graces, but we have no way of knowing for sure.

Is there any other issue in particular you have a question on?

But do you know if later that child/person accepted Jesus or not? Since I haven't been to Hell, I don't know who is there or what religion is responsible for the most people being there.

They apparently do not stop at people. When Halley's Comet appeared in 1456, Pope Calixtus III had it excommunicated because it was an agent of the devil. So, one huge dirty snowball will not be going to heaven. Clever boy!
