Troops are in Iraq to accomplish a mission. It's sad that the American public doesn't get the full story of what is going on over there. We've killed over 30,000 terrorists, brought about democracy, and facilitated a women's rights movement in the middle east. The troops should come home when the generals on the ground determine that the goals outlined before the invasion have been accomplished not politicians in DC.

because we have no right to be in a country that didn't even threaten us! Iraq was more stable under Saddam Hussein! The racial, and religious minorities were actually safer under Saddam!
I'm not trying to say he was a good man but it's true.. the truth is after WW2 Americans thought they were the though-est things around and thought they had a right to invade any country no matter what if they don't like them!
and if anybody brings up 9/11 the facts are that there were no Iraqis in any of those planes and our "moderate" Arab allies like Saudi Arabia and Egypt had most of the people.. Al Quaida is much larger in Iraq now that we have invaded also ..

Yes because this is non-sense.
We need as both allied countries and neighbours we need to figure out a plan for both of us and a stratigy (oops bad spelling). I think that we should pull at least 1000 troops out of Iraq. I think that we need to talk to the public of Iraq and discuss what we are going to do - have peace and quiet. We need to have more interaction with the President of Iraq.
It makes me sad and upset that this is all happening and all the innocent people are dying for no reason. We as the Yahoo Answers need to think up an idea to send to Mr. Bush and tell him about the bad topics about this war.
I want to tell all the soldiers on Yahoo! Answers good luck in the mission to Iraq. Please make some peace.

If you cannot read the news and conclude why they need to leave Iraq, then don't expect anybody here to enlighten you. A rock could figure that out. People are dying daily and no good is being done there. This has lasted longer than World War 2 already. It has no end in sight and Bush wants no end in sight. You can find all kinds of statistics to support this.

at first, Bush won't pull the troops out. He in simple terms isn't president by way of the time they are out. 2d. Forming a sparkling government may well be funds, time, and lives wasted if we did no longer stay to assist it till it ought to stand by way of itself. Tensions are nonetheless severe, and till the Iraqis have administration we gained't abandon them. third. those troops (myself coated) new what they have been signing up for. the protection stress settlement does no longer say which you will stay at domicile consisting of your loved ones. It includes going to conflict, and serving the place and whilst your u . s . desires you. help for the conflict is down, yet purely because of the fact individuals are impatient. they do no longer understand what it takes or what's in touch in setting up government. the every person is, usually, uninformed or worse, misinformed. The Iraqis nonetheless choose us, whether or no longer they comprehend it or no longer. and finally, WMD's. Saddam himself theory he had WMD's. the persons decrease interior the chain of command have been mendacity to him so they does no longer be punished, yet that they had no longer yet superior the weapons he needed. Their communications indicated that they've been shifting the WMD's earlier the UN became into examining, so we (and Saddam) theory that they had them.

Because we have already accomplished the Removal of Saddam Hussein and the new duly elected Iraq government which theoretically is going to allow the Iraq people to rule and govern themselves.
And as they are only providing the Al Queda with target practice and nothing more while they are in the middle of the Iraqi religious war between themselves they are not accomplishing anything else and will only be killed and injured if they continue to stay in that Cesspool that Bush got us involved in!

Because there is no end game or plan of termination. So by the current logic we should continue to fight in Iraq forever and continue to spend billions on a situation that is not improving but is regressing.
