first of all, find the reason why she's selling her body.
if it's because of a spouse, family member or relative, then get somebody to help her run away, you must be prepared to provide her shelter, food and a shoulder to cry on as long as it takes for her to get a job, and get her first paycheck.
if it's just because of money, then help her to get a job with minimal requirements of experience or expertise. sometimes, selling bodies won't gain them much anyways.
things like these will hurt them emotionally, although most of them won't show how they really feel. (unless those who really like selling their body and thinks of it as an easy way out, then no amount of help can change them)
come on people, be supportive. not all of them wants to be like that. maybe it's the only thing they know how to do.
as long as somebody is willing to show the ropes and give a helping hand, i'm sure they will change and we will have a cleaner society..??
just my two cents.
my congrats to you for even showing that you care...
*thumbs up*

Maybe try to help her find a job.Get her a whole bunch of applications.I understand that is a very hard thing to get out of and usually the person wants out for a very long time. She needs a different job, I doubt she will make the same money $ but it's not only a money issue but a health issue.

Give her a cork.
Seriously, you cannot stop her; she has to make that decision herself. You can listen to her and help her solve the problem (if she wants you to), but you cannot make her decision for her. If she is caught breaking the law, the courts can tell her to get help, but she will have to be motivated to use the help well.
If she wants to use the community resources suggested by other posters, by all means encourage her. But just saying "find her a job" or "sent her to college" will only work if that's what she wants to do.

Find her another way to finance her lifestyle until she can seek legitimate employment. If she must stay in a shelter or public housing, put her in touch with a counselor or someone who can give her close personal guidance until she establishes her independence from prostitution. She must be willing to cooperate with the program.

Register in a degree program in a college, get financial aid from the college, and also, get public assistance, including food stamps.

Make her eat loads of food so that she gets fat. Then nobody will want to touch her let alone pay money to have her and the problem will be solved
