No one can tell you what size is the "good" size. You need to be happy for YOU. YOU have to live with your body everyday. No one else. Stop worrying so much about the size you should be according to men--all men have different opinions on size for women, but in the long run, doing what makes you happy, having a body that you are proud of. Women can wear different sizes and be the same weight, it all depends on what your body shape is, where your proportions fall etc. You can't base size on weight.

You will be attractive to the right man at the right time. When you are happy with the way you look--THAT is the perfect size for you!!!

Hi, I don't look at the label size... anyway.. you know they are all over the shop... a size 6 in one shop is a size 8 in another.... and a size 12 in Australia... who can tell .. it's the nature of the fashion industry. Measuring yourself is a great motivator for dieting because you see real progress... not get depressed by periodic fluctuations.

What looks good? It depends on your age... obviously... however a good indicator is % body fat.... not weight..... but I would be happy to say that any lady with a body fat% of aroudn 25% add or subtract 5% is very healthy... not too skinny and frail... and not to muffin top.... just a guage... someone who makes me laugh and feel good is a better target.

I don't think you'd need to lose 20lb to be a size 8, probably only about 10lb. I don't know your actual measurements though, it all depends how you carry your weight and also your build as to what size will look best on you.

Gaz is right though, body fat percentage is what you need to be worrying about rather than clothes size. If you are mostly muscle, maybe you are good where you are.

HTH : )

Join a gym and start building strength, which also reduces fat. You have too many inches and it's fat. Also, no cheese, only one starch every few days (1 slice of bread, a small potato, a little pasta, etc.). No sugar. Sweeten with pure white Stevia, available in a health food store. Avoid fried foods, no junk food or snacks. eat lots and lots of fruit!
