Jeeps working on them?

I know a little about cars but not much im gonna buy a lift kit for my jeep like my friend did and i want to deck the jeep all out and make it an offroading rig, but i need to learn some more about jeeps how to do it , but i dont want to take long expensive shop classes... what can i do to learn more about how to work on a jeep?... any websites?
