I installed vista on my machine but i now want to restore my pc to xp. I have a recovery disc that i got when i purchased my pc but just wondering is this enough to do a full recovery?

factory recovery CD should do the job, only problem is that Vista actually changes the partition info, so the restore CD may not even read the hard drive correctly.

That's a damn good question. I've found vista to be a pain in the butt. I think your recovery cd will probably wipe your old settings and possibly your documents. You might lose a lot of stuff. Let's just hope Vista gets a bit better soon with all the updates MS will need to be doing.
