i have seen some, yet overall, going by the silly questions and answers given by some(not all though), i have to say, majority, if not all, the atheists here are way too immature.
edit: the amount of thumbs down shows a lot of people disagree with me. hence, most people here disagree that there are mature atheists here at all. isnt this sad?

You will see it a lot as you get older. It may be that the group of friends you hang out with just like to have fun. If your looking for more mature people try clubs or donating your time to a city project. People who donate time and energy of their free will are some of the most mature people I know.

Atheists have the ability to be mature (or immature) just as much as anyone of any religion. Maturity (Immaturity) knows no boundaries.

Believing or not aside, why in the name of all that anyone would hold dear is maturity a goal sought out at all!?! Maturity; from my observations, brings forth a sterile, dry, emotionless ( unless anger, bitterness, sarcasm, and disappointment count as emotion ) state of acceptance. Not my cup of tea, Ducky!!!!!

The atheists on this forum are hardly the ones to ask about maturity. Yes I know some mature atheists. I am a Christian, and we agree to disagree, and we are good friends.

If civility is a sign of maturity, then yes. People are people, and many so-called religious people can act equally immature. I don't think maturity is exclusive to any particular group of people.

Always use capital `A` with "Atheist". " I have seen no evidence", is also a more acceptable form of grammar. Sorry to be immature about such things, but getting it right is so important, don`t you agree ?

And what would be your definition of maturity. I myself (as an atheist) have knowledge of the world. Love of my fellow man. and an ability to get along with and tolerate those whose beliefs differ from mine. I even have many close friends who are Christens.

James Randi, professional skeptic and debunker of "psychics" and the like, is one. I've met him, respect him, and like him, even though I'm a Christian and he's an atheist. Google his name if you want more information about him.

I consider myself to be pretty "mature." You know, a volatile place like this chat board is really not the best place to make lasting decisions about entire groups of people--it's too small a sample size of any one group.

Malak, that's what it's supposed to be, I know. But it regularly devolves into something much less intellectually stimulating, hence my distaste for calling it a Q&A.
