I don't think it's wrong to wear red to a wedding. ( I have heard that you shouldn't wear red to a funeral though!) What could be a problem with wearing red would be if the bridesmaids are in red and you would be in a picture with them- although it's not a huge problem! I think the choice is up to you! I don't think people really follow some old "rules" of dress anymore, brides wear red too! Wear what feels good to you.

No, why should it be . It would be bad taste to wear white . Or are you afraid of the connotation of Scarlet woman or standing out ?.Being the center of attention never worries most women whether they will admit it or not . Not standing out is a way of standing out in a perverse sort of way
Actually Scarlett is my favorite shade of Red !!!!!
Make it a subtle gesture wear a very pretty matching hat !!!
to suit your features this may be harder to locate than the dress so start looking for it soon Red hats are not so common

If I am not wrong, Red means lucky or good luck for Chinese. I don't see anything wrong to wearing a lucky colour to a happy occasion.

if it is then I will surely burn in hell.

I've worn red to the last 3 weddings, and one was for my brother. Who cares what colour you were, except for white, no one is looking at you anyway.

You just make damn sure you don't look better than the bride! haha.

I don't think its wrong to wear red.. but don't you think that you'll attract people more than the bride and groom who are celebrating their special day? be considerate..:)

No, not at all. Just look neat, clean, and respectful. Don't outdo the wedding party.

Most of those things are now out-dated.

You can even wear black if you want.
