if you are talking about stomach acid.. then you need to watch what you eat.. i lot of food that you wouldnt even think about is acidic like tea .. soda is also bad so dont drink it .. some fruits can be acidic which means that juice can be acidic too . . the best road is to stay focuses on drinking water or milk .. and tryin g to eat food that isnt too acidic .. good luck !

Drink milk.
ACIDITY, INDIGESTION
Aniseed: A teaspoon of aniseed in a cup of boiling water. Leave it overnight, Seive and take it with a little bit of honey.
Celery: celery seeds soaked in buttermilk for five to six hours and then ground in the same buttermilk relieves indigestion.
Cinnamon: Cinnamon checks nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea. It stimulates digestion. A tablespoon of cinnamon water, prepared as for cold and taken half an hour after meals, relieves flatulence and indigestion.
Ginger: Chewing of ginger regularly after your meals prevents acidity and indigestion.

1.Avoid oily and spicy food.
2.Drink minimum 2 litres of water per day.
3.Do not drink water 30 minutes before meals and one hour after meals.
4. Eat less sweets and other condimetns.

1st thing know why acidty occurs?
this is just exagration of normal pheno menon
now what are causes which causes acidity
causes can be from trival tension to seriuos carcinoma
now ur specific about precation
1) eating habits to be regularised
2)avoid drink
3) plan your life to be as tension free as possible
4) mainy tablets are available in market (don't even try to use it )which r habit forming
5)try to be happy & think less about it

dont eat spicy and masala food..
Drink water as much as u can 16 glasses of water per day
miy yoghurt with water and sugar.(lassi)drink daily 2 times a day..
no acidity..........
eat fruits and vegetables ,fresh fruit juices will really help
