Definately. I know how you feel. People usually procrastinate because they don't want to do something but usually it's stemmed from some sort of anxiety. For example, someone who is afraid of flying may avoid flying for quite some time before they really decide that they have to do. I good way is to make a schedule for the day. Maybe even keep track of your day. You can ask a psychologist for advice or check out some sites on procrastination. Good luck because I'm still struggling with it...I have been for all my life.

Consistant procrastinating is a sign of severe anxiety and/ or stress. If the books aren't helping, you could always try meditation or hypnosis.
If that still doesn't help then see you're doctor who may or may not prescribe medication depending on how they feel.

make a sign by your desk with a list of things to do today . the sign to you should say do it now. Practice will get you out of it But one thing at a time . Don't look at the mess look at the first thing you see and Finnish it. a pile of paperwork is handled one paper at a time with anyone.eventually the paper work is organized just do what you can right now. and it doesn't pile up anymore if you take care of it one at a time. Action not reading how to books makes things happen Hun .

Just do things right away. Start small if you have to. Do dishes right after eating. Vacuum or sweep. If you start with small chores you will get in the habit for the big ones. This worked for me.

All you need is motivation you need to get up and tell yourself that theres a whole world going on out there do you want to miss it. Do you want to die wishing all the things you said you would?? Just keep telling yourself you have to do it for you and nobody else.
