you need physiotherapy for them to help massage your muscles and help move the spine back gently and gradually - i had scholiosis (but it wasnt too bad)

go to a physiotherpaist or chirpractor and they should be able to help you out :)

hope that helps!

Depending on the type of scoliosis, chiro or physio will probably lessen the pain and may even lessen the degree of curvature *if* there's a neuro-muscular cause. Most scoliosis in young women is "primary" or "idiopathic" scoliosis, meaning that no-one really knows how it's caused, but it doesn't seem to have a muscle or nerve cause, nor is it caused by "bad posture".

Don't believe claims that acupuncture or anything else can cure the scoliosis, though - there's no reliable evidence of that, and even the major schools of acupuncture are very clear that it is a symptomatic treatment - of pain mainly, though there is evidence that it helps with some other problems - and has almost no effect on some underlying causes, idiopathic scoliosis included.

Basically, it's better to treat the symptoms than to try to fix the problem - which can cause further damage in the hands of an inexperienced or overconfident practitioner.

I advise you see a chiropractor as soon as possible. They specialize in spinal problems and would be able to help you not feel so much pain. I've enclosed a link where you can find a chiropractor in your area.

For now take a hot bath with 2c. of Epsom salts to help relieve the pain throughout your body.

To help relieve the pain take 500mg of calcium and magnesium twice daily.

have you tried a chiropractor ?

they will not take away your scoliosis, but the adjustment that they do MIGHT help take away your pain

do NOT let them adjust you unless they
take an X-Ray

(worked for me & I have a Mild case of scoliosis)

best of luck
