we had a previous argument, and everytime i ask him to hold me, he gets mad that i wake him. I'm not starting to like the fact he is this way. I get angry at him most of the time.

Honey, I'm married and my husband and I sleep in separate beds. He snores like a pig and suffers from restless leg syndrome. I put up with him kicking me in the back until one time he actually injured my vertebrae he kicked me so hard. And he ALWAYS managed to kick me in my back!!

Look, the point is: When a person is tired all they really want to do is SLEEP. I'm sure you feel much better after a good night's sleep without having to listen to someone snore, right?? Think of it from his perspective, put yourself in his shoes. He's probably a REALLY light sleeper. Light wakes my husband up (but he can sleep through any loud noise), so your BF is probably woken up by movement.

Some people need their space when they sleep, and some people can't keep still. Don't take it personally if your BF won't hold you through the night cuz ur moving around too much.

Maybe you can work out a happy medium between being in complete embrace and sleeping on opposite sides of the bed. See if he can sleep with just one arm around you or something.

Maybe the both of you should do the holding thing up until the both of you get sleepy and then you both can lay down and sleep together.
P.S. Why are you moving so much? I bet you feel like a statue sometimes. You be to scared to move sometime thinking he is going to say something.

I think it's unfair of you to get mad at him over this just because you want him to hold you when sleeping. Do you really value having his arms around you more than letting him get a good night's rest? Either appreciate him for his other traits, or find another boyfriend who is a heavier sleeper.

the definition of the word sleep, is "the period of closed-eye rest usually taken at night" so how in the world is he going to rest. Don't take it to personal, maybe if you let him rest at night he will hold you during the day, and that gets more exiting.

Ok lets see this-once I was right where both of you are at-he is trying to sleep rejecting marriage, knowing others consider the two of you as shacked up, deciding if he should find someone else who rejects marriage to shack up with or stay with you. And your awake worried you are losing this guy, but we cant lose what isnt ours-till we belong to Jesus-He said of me and all "You are of the other father, the father of lies who comes to decieve, and destroy." the Gospels

I use to be but this is what changed me= To have the greatest happiness and to honor a g/f like a princess and to honor "In marriage the bed is undefiled but the others will be judged."

I had to come clean=as the Bible says in Proverbs and Psalm 103 if one repents and forsakes a sin then it is burried into the deapest sea to be remembered no more, His desire is for you to be saved and to serve the Lord till you get there too.

this is what got things right for me=this is what helped me to be able to keep the truth -and you cant lose something that is not yours. We belong to Jesus-and with this prayer-pray about getting a book at the Bible book store on this subject, true love, relationships and more.

best i can say is this works-the bible says if you search with all your heart you will find him.

Read the Gospel of John and see what God has to say, when you get to John 3 it talks about repenting and being born again to see the kingdom of heaven.

I read on till Revelation chapter 3 verses 19&20 Jesus says "I love you repent from your sins (even one lie) and ask me in to have fellowship with you and you with me." =to be your friend

I prayed, "Jesus thank you for dying for my sins, I am sorry for them, come into my heart and help me, be my friend, amen."

this helped me know who I am and gave me the courage to be the best I can be. Praying for you too, David

If you prevent him from sleeping because you move around a lot then you can't blame him really that he doesn't want to hold you at night.

when you sleep, what does it matter if you're being held or not?

if he holds you before bed each night, then that's enough. dont get mad over this. there's a lot more stuff that you can get mad at him about.

compromise, just ask for a cuddle before you go to sleep, my husband doesn't cuddle up to me when he's asleep because he cant sleep like that. Is it just that bothers you, could you going through a bad patch. sometimes you go through times where you get on each others nerves, it will pass, if your meant to be together.
