Apparently you have made a judgment about all Christians. How do you come to terms with your prejudice?

If you feel miserable about learning of hell and damnation, chances are that is God trying to tell you something. If thinking about Hell is making you miserable, all you have to do is go to God and ask him to forgive and and to come into your heart and life and he will save you and you won't have to feel miserable about hell. Good Christians aren't judging you. We are telling you the truth, the same truth we had to come to grips with at one point too. We simply want you to not have to spend eternity in hell, when you have the choice to spend it in heaven instead. Most Christian share this out of love, some are judging and rude and just don't go about it the right way. They probably mean well but just don't portray that.

When I am treated like trash by NON-Christians, I simply act like an adult. I ask myself do I deserve the criticism that was handed to me?
If I did, I try to change, If I didn't I move on.
When I was a kid we had a phrase "sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me." If you have NEVER committed any sins, no lying, no stealing, no cheating on spouse.....
Don't worry about it people who have never made any mistakes will go straight to heaven no questions asked.

I think many of my fellow Christians word the Gospel all wrong.
None of us is perfect each of us has sinned at some point Christian and non-Christian alike.
Do you believe that people who
commit moral crimes deserve to be punished?

I believe in justice, and I have committed moral crimes, some in my past were serious. I deserve to be punished, A just God would have to punish law breakers,
However if you are willing to ask Jesus to forgive you for any of the bad things you have done, he will forgive you. Because Jesus has paid for all the sins of the people who want forgiveness,
and will be grateful to Jesus for the forgiveness they were given.

If saying you should ask for forgiveness for any wrong you have done brings you sorrow, I am sorry, that is causes you pain.

If you are saying I have done more things right then I have done wrong so I should have nothing to worry about, please think on this.

If you told a judge I have never broke the law before, so you should forgive me for breaking the law this time, would you expect the Judge to listen? No obeying the law most of the time does not help you when you get caught you still have to pay the fine even if is the first time you have broke the law.

You have the worst basis in judging Christians. Not all Christians are like that. I know a lot of Christians who don't mind other people's beliefs and we don't condemn people like that! Personally the people who do make me SICK! They make us look bad and I even have a vendetta against these so-called preachers.

It's the same with non-Christians. I know a lot of persons who don't hav the same religion as I do but their good people!

I've said this once! I'll say it again! Don't judge Christianity (or any other religion for that matter) just by its followers! We're all humans, we make mistakes. It's the same with any other religion (atheism included)

Hmm, maybe I'm not the right Christian to answer this question. I don't judge my fellow human beings, and I don't spout hell or damnation.

I sincerely hope this wasn't addressed to ALL Christians, because we're not all like that!

I try not to judge and I have never 'spouted hell and damnation' not my job. I have far too many glass windows to throw stones.

I don't. I'm a Christian. Religion is not the cause of prejudices etc. It is the person themselves who judge, they are not dominated by religion. They are cowards to hide behind religion though as an excuse...

we do not cause misery.

but how about the misery we feel when those unbelievers had been throwing us laughs and insults for the last hundred of years? we're just believing and nothing else, we do not cause harm by believing and yet they are insulting us with no reason at all.

If this causes them to be in misery, then obviously they have some unresolved issues in relation to what they actually believe in. Sorry if we tell it how it is. It's called reality.

And, my dear, how do you come to terms with your narrow, little mind? Not very easily, I bet.
