YES! In fact, God Himself has a sense of humor. I do not believe God put us here on earth to live a very boring life. He want's us to be very happy. I'm not going to say its right nor wrong to drink alcohol because I'm not sure. But alcohol is indeed a spirit when it becomes an addiction. Have you ever noticed when you go to a liquor store, somewhere it would say, "Wines and Spirits"? Enjoy LIFE!! But be careful to not become tempted into doing the wrong things. How will you be able to tell the good from the bad? Study God's word and live it! In due time, He will reveal Himself to you.

Oh sure, I know plenty of Christians with great senses of humor. They just aren't vulgar. Also, the reason why you don't see many Christians that are funny on here is because they are all busy trying to make atheists look foolish. Instead, they are making themselves look like less than perfect, hypocritical people. I started out that way on here, but I'm trying to loosen up a bit, plus you should never try to make someone else look foolish to make your own point. I have learned that the hard way, and no one will listen to someone who trys to make themselves superior to everyone else. I hope that is what you are looking for, God bless.
PS- I just read the rest of your question, getting drunk and sense of humor don't really have anything to do with each other, but that's alright, and I think that even one drink can tempt you to drink more, but if you know that you have self control and can drink a little without getting yourself drunk, and you drink in moderation then it might be okay. Jesus did turn water into wine, however, as I have heard it, the Greek translation of the wine that Jesus presented was unfermented, which means it was grape juice. The Bible talks a lot about not getting drunk. I hope that helps. God bless.

Some christians don't know God personally and so are afraid to make mistakes. God is a funny guy, he invented humor! He is a great Dad and loves to see his children have fun, just as long as they don't do something that could hurt someone or themselves in the process. For guidelines, check the 10 Commandments. Notice that he only gave 10 and they are just good common sence to afirm what everyone already knew? Why write them at all? Rebellious kids!

Christianity is NOT boring. I agree that it is also God's will that we enjoy life, however, still within certain limits.
Drinking few glasses of wine/beer is fine, as long as you don't get drunk or develop addiction to it. That's when alcohol becomes a bondage to you, which is not healthy. But other than that, I have no objection of people drinking alcohol moderately.
Still, can't say the same about smoking or drugs, coz we do know even a small amount of them are not healthy :p

You are right, God will not send you to hell for having a few, as long as you don't make alcohol your God! Seriously, with all due respect, you people have no idea about God (Jesus Christ).
Again, God doesn't send people to Hell, we have a free will and we make the choice to go to hell by the way we live, by who we believe in and what we follow.
Jesus drank wine, and in his time it was drunk at dinner time and special occasions.
Oh, and ps....i'm the first one to have a laugh, i love life to the fullest. I've been told i'm the life of the party!!!! No humdrum here!!!

I have a great sense of humor and I show it on here all the time. Don't know which Christians you are talking about as to drinking, most Christians I know, do drink. The only sin there is to drink in excess and cause trouble.

He reported that he grow to be often unsuitable for a Greek Orthodox Priest as ( a number of our priests have beards , long hair and undergo the long black robes whilst in public. I asked him what he might Say. basic I provide them my Jewish Blessing anyhow. He then asked me if i might purchase one raffle value ticket for GOD.. He knew i grow to be youthful and and dealing so he did no longer inquire from me for anymore after i bought a value ticket, He stated . does no longer it quite is humorous if a Gentile won the main prize ? OH VEY This Rabbi grow to be a excellent guy with a super experience of humour earlier my boss have been given off the telephone , he proceeded to tell me a pair of ( clean Jokes approximately Christians and Jews) I on no account knew at that element that Hasidic Rabbis had this sort of super experience of humour or perhaps laughed. i assumed they have been all Kosher and Prayed to God all day and have been very solemn. i grow to be pleasantly shocked. that some could be so hilariously humorous. The Rabbi is probable with God on the instant, yet i'll on no account forget approximately how he lots he taught me approximately existence and the laughter of Judaism that day.i'll on no account forget approximately him. a magnificent Rabbi. The Bible says that "A merry heart doeth reliable like a drugs". Proverbs12:25 yet you merely could end interpreting that verse to verify the end result melancholy has on our lives. Yeah, I actually do agree. I like to have a beer occasionally, and I LOVE watching funny movies. I recently saw Borat, and my sides STILL hurt from laughing (though the naked fight scene was HORRIBLE, I didn't want to look, but I couldn't look away!).
I love to laugh, and I love life. Some things aren't funny to me...but there are lots more things that are!
