Jackie Chan would win he is the real deal he knows his stuff but van damme has train in martial arts he was in martial before he got in to movies so he does knows what he is doing and in his early days he did fight in kickboxing macthes and he was ranked good for all of the people that don't know much on van damme background he was pretty good before he got on drugs and got all Hollywood but it just comes down to it that Jackie is fast and has more knowledge than van damme but i like both of them and i would say van damme got more movies out that i like better than Jackie but for van damme new movies he's been making there not so good so Jackie doing better now with his rush hours and shanghai knights

Van Damme was a top world-class kick boxer before movies. I saw Van Damme in an interview on the tv and he was asked how he got his start in movies. He got the interviewer to stand up, then did a kick and held his foot 1" from the side of the reporters head, just held it there. The kick was just a blur. Even replaying the video over and over, you could not believe how fast it was. I think it would be more even than most people think.

Jackie Chan. He has vast knowledge of chinese martial arts and van Damme uses strength where Jackie Chan uses souplesse... Chan even had knowledge of Tai chi and that's the highest form and Van Damme would not be able to win from Chan. I'm 100% sure. Kung fu will always beat Karate. Besides, chan knows the true Wu-shu....

Van Damme couldn't beat his way out of a wet paper bag. Think all you want about his "ability" he has nice flashy kicks, that's it. That crap wouldn't and dosen't help him in a real fight. My seven year old could wipe the ground with that wantabe hasbeen. I have found one or two of his movies half way entertaining but that is as far as that go's. The man has no real skill what so ever. At least Jackie seems to be a nice guy, and his movies are better. As far as a real fighter, have no clue.
I usually won't answer questions like this but I dislike van dumb enough to spend the time.

Who'd win? Van Damme's former bodyguard Chuck Zito lol, he's already handed Van Damme his **** once.
But my bet is on Jackie, people seem to forget that he chose to market himself as the funny guy on purpose, he saw that Bruce Lee was the serious guy and decided that he needed to do something different to get peoples attention.
