oklahoma unemployment,can i draw it for being fired?

i recently was fired for being late after being there 5 yrs 4pm till 730pm sometimes 8-9 pm should i be able to draw it

i worked mon-fri

I would go ahead and apply for unemployment and have information ready as to why you feel you should receive unemployment payment. I was fired for missed days to do illness and I won unemployment payment because I showed I was trying to work with my job around my Doctors appoinments. All they can say is no.

Generally if you're released for cause you cannot collect. Some states will allow you to after an extended period of unemployment, often 8 weeks. You'll have to check with your state unemployment department to get the current straight scoop.
