I want to compress some files so it can fit in 1 cd. How do i do that, or what do i do to minimize the size of certain file/doc?

You need software. There are plenty of free file compressers out there. 7zip is a real popular one: http://www.7-zip.org/

XP has a compression utility built in.

I would put all the files into a folder. Then right click on the folder, 'send to' a compressed folder. done.

put them into a folder then right click on the folder and go to send to compressed zipped folder. if your making a music cd it wont play on cd players though, it'll only work for files.

you need to buy the program to compress it,without it you cannot compress anything.as for how you use the program it written in the book.
