Please stay away from this stuff! One of my hobbies is running around on the internet reading product reviews. I'm a cheapskate.

Anyway, the vast majority of people who used easy straight regretted it. It didn't always make the hair straight--they still had to use a flat iron. Often, it took the flexibility out of their hair, making it almost like thin strips of rubber. One girl described trying to tuck her hair behind her ear, only to have it spring back out.

Several of the reviews I read were from girls whose hair became so brittle that it broke off in chunks, leaving behind what one girl described as a "fresh buzz cut" on one side of her head. Most of them had to cut drastic amounts of their hair off, just to hide the damage. I probably read 20 reviews, astonished that this kind of corporate abuse could be so rampant under the law. Out of those approx. 20 reviews, only one woman was satisfied.......and only moderately so.

If you want straight hair, buy a good flat iron. I recommend the Solia. Straightening "perms" done in salons still have the chance of severely damaging your hair (even making it fall out sometimes) but I don't believe that anything is worse than easy straight.

i hope this helps...............peace.
