-----Jesus died on the cross in order to pay the price of our sins. If He didn't do that, then:

1.) We probably would still be sacrificing animals to God, just as they did in the Bible before Christ came. The blood of the animals were used during that time to cover the sins of the person. But because Jesus died on the cross, our sins are already washed away through His blood.

2.) We would still pay the price of our sins. Because we are all sinners from birth, we all have been condemned to eternal death. But when Jesus died on the cross, He has paid the price of our sins & rid us of our punishment. Now, He grants Eternal Life to those willing to receive it.

some verses from the Bible:

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Before Jesus got here within the flesh, we're informed that sinners who repented WERE stored by way of religion within the alternative slayed animal sacrifices mentioned by way of God. And like the ones of in these days, they needed to give up sinning (that is what repenting way). The specific atonement, nevertheless, took position with excellent timing whilst Jesus grew to become the best sacrifice those animals prefigured. So earlier than Jesus got here, the humans regarded FORWARD to the move even as the ones after, seem BACK to the atonement at the move. Therefore, in some way, you are proper: it's the identical for individuals who repent in their sins. For folks who do not, there's no sacrifice or heaven. It relatively should not have mattered whilst God could have selected to ship Jesus to earth however being gracious as He is, He gave mankind all of the prophecies had to aid guy appreciate the actual Messiah and end up, as soon as once more, that God maintains His guarantees involving salvation and judgments. He could not have made those any clearer.

We would die for our sin. Jesus became our substitute at the cross. Those who don't accept His sacrifice for their sins will die the 2nd death (Rev 2:11, 20:6, 20:14, 21:8). So, if He never offered Himself a sacrifice for us then we would all be subject to that death.

He died for our sins because He wants to spend eternity with us - He loves each and every one of us. He could have let this evil world play itself out to destruction or destroyed it Himself when sin entered. But God is love (1 John 4:8) and has offered mankind another chance at life.

Praise God, He is not only just but loving & merciful!

If he had not died for our sins then the gateway to heaven would still be closed as it was before he died. and the world we live in would not be as it is now. it would be far worse to live in this world if he had not died for out sins and his death had not commanded teachings of faith hope and charity for over 2000 years! just think about those 3 for a second. Faith: faith in god, faith in the belief that there is a higher standard which we should strive for in order to better ourselves for a life after death so wonderful we cannot even imagine. Hope: the hope that when we die our lives will not be over but just beginning in a new world of peace and happiness, and the hope that when times get rough that there is something else out there that will protect us from harm. And last but certainly not least Charity: charity is the root of all love, it is why we donate to the salvation army, its why we help each other out when one of us has fallen on hard times, it is why boy scouts help little old ladies across the street. Now Can you imagine a world without any of that? Cause that is why Jesus died on the cross under the weight of the sins of the whole world from its creation to its end. Jesus died so that the gates of heaven would once again be passable by mortal men and so that the world could have the virtues of Faith, Hope and Charity, For without all that our world would be hell.

When Adam and Eve sinned they as it were pulled the plug on life, but Jesus Christ [see Heb.1:5-9 where the Father address Him as God, also Heb,13:8, John 8:58 describing Him as The I AM] came to give us another chance a new life, but He did more then just give His live He offers us His nature, His heart, in Isaiah 14:12-15 we read that satan has/had a "i" problem, but Jesus in Isaiah 53 is the opposite of that, you will end up in one of two resurrections one of the saved and one of those who will die forever see Jn.5:28-29 some folks think we have two choices but that is just not true, you and i are born with satan's nature that is NOT a choice Jesus offers us a choice to have a new heart in that when we do what we do we will be doing what Christ would do, find out more free bible lessons www.amazingfacts.org email me also wgr88@yahoo.com God bless

We would all be lost and headed for hell. Get out a pencil and paper and draw 2 cliffs adjacent to each other and a bottomless pit in between the 2 cliffs. Label one cliff MAN and the other cliff GOD and then label the bottomless pit in between the 2 cliffs HELL. Then draw a bridge over the bottomless pit and label it Jesus. God is perfectly Holy. Man is sinful. There is no way sinful man or any sin will ever come into the presence of God. Jesus is the bridge because He paid for your sins and mine. Why couldn't you name that bridge Krishna, Muhammad, Buddha, Moses, Confucius or one of the other religious leaders. Because sin is the problem. Sin is what is separating man from God and none of those religious leaders ever claimed to die for your sins or pay for them in any way. Jesus is the only one in history who ever claimed to die for anyones sins. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth and the life, no man comes unto the Father but by me"(John 14:6). Had Jesus not died for our sins, none of us (myself included) would have had any hope for eternity.

IT'S A BIG LIE!
Spiritual masters do take the sins of disciples,on condition that
they sin no more, but stupid christians do not even know what is sin!
They kill or buy slaughterhouse products, when Jesus said:"THOU SHALT NOT KILL!"
They wear mini skirts and behave like prostitutes, even in church!
They drink whisky etc...
They are greedy about money-making!

All such sinful activities are going on and still they think:Jesus will save me,coz I'm baptised!

HYPOCRITES!

Every Christian says Christ died to take away our sins, but by doing so we are able to be indwelt by the holy spirit. The holy spirit leads us to all righteous things and away from the bad. We could not have the holy spirit while we are still caught up in all our sins. Without Christ, we would not have the chance for true righteousness.

O Christians why not you reveal your god that Jesus has paid the price of your crimes and sins?
Most of sinful and alchohlic christians are being afflicted by God with STD (Sexually transmitted diseases) including AIDS and Hepatitis. Why not you tell your god that Jesus has paid the price and do not afflict us due out sins and crimes??? Or your sins and crimes exceeded than price paid?

Savior
I, even I, am Yahweh; and beside me there is no savior…a just God and a Savior; there is none beside me” (43:11; 45:21).

Ezekiel 18:20
The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
