If you got into a terrible car accident, and died and the next thing you see, is God, right there, and not only is He real, but you realize you didnt know the first thing about him, and you got it all wrong?

Did the prophets get it wrong?

When you die, you are dead until the resurrection.

You will see Jesus returning on a cloud.

God is spirit. We worship God in spirit and the truth.

Jesus said the He is the way, the truth, and the life and no one see toward the father except through him.

The prophets tell us everything we need to know God, everything. If there is unbelief, we as Christians should move on.

Answer: Move on since the bible is for believers, not a conversation manual. Jesus asked us to teach all nations, not to convert everyone.

IF that was the case, and I could be certain it was real, and not a hallucination of some sort, I would simply accept that I was mistaken, explain that a lack of credible evidence left me no choice but to question his existence, and ask for his forgiveness.

simon_katich02: Which is why evolution makes so much more sense than religion! Your a s s-backward "proof" is faulty, in every sense. Ever think that maybe life developed in response to the environment? Hey, everything is just right for us! Wow, what a coincidence! So either a magic being created the planet around our needs, or our needs were defined by our development, in response to the conditions of the planet...you know, adaptation. Like what happens in nature, every f u c k day! I'm not saying I know God doesn't exist, I don't. I just find it hillarious when people like you come up with this narrow-minded, simplistic reasoning, and are so sure you've got it all figured out.

I never claimed to know everything and if I am wrong I will pay whatever the consequence is.. What more could be asked?

Should I hypocritically say I believe in something I don't on the off chance I might be wrong? Yeah that would be a great choice wouldn't it...

Look for the door marked "HELL" before I was pushed.
I mean, the bible's made it clear that being honest isn't enough.
And I can't honestly believe, given what I have read and studied and experienced, that God exists.

So I'll get points for honesty and hell for eternity, it seems.

Muslims feel just as strongly about Allah as you do about your God (many even moreso, I would imagine).

So if they can be so wrong, what makes you think you are right?

And in answer to your question, it's not my fault that I don't know anything about God, I'm sure if he wanted me to know him then he would contact me. Why should it be up to me, a mere mortal, to waste my precious time trying to understand him, when he's eternal and so he has all the time in the world to tell me about himself... and yet he does not.

And IF elephants could fly would that give new meaning to the term '**** storm'? These little, use your imagination, games are cute but they have no real basis in reality.

I would tell this god that if he had wanted me to believe in him, he should have created me more gullible or less intelligent/logical. Any god who would fault me for being the way he created me isn't worthy of worship anyway.

Not this silly question again....

Okay, what if you died and realized that you were wrong and Zeus is the real god of the gods. All this time, you hadn't worshipped him and didn't even know him. What would you do?

Personally, I'm not too worried about it. Your religion (Christianity I presume) is so utterly ridiculous. I guess I could be wrong, but I could be wrong about Santa Clause, the tooth fairy and pink unicorns too.

Your question makes the presupposition that your belief that there is one god is the correct belief.
What will you do, if you die and instead of facing the christian god, you find yourself crossing the river Styx and facing Hades, god of the underworld?
Just as you are not worried about that, I am not worried about what you propose.
