I believe that there is a higher power or powers. I dont believe in the Christian God, or Buddha or Ali, or any of those religious God's. I believe that there is a higher being or power, One that is indiscrimenent and loving. That doesnt judge or persicute those who dont believe exactly what they do, unlike many religous followers. I believe in Evolution. We would not be here as we are today if it did not exist. All species in this world change, grow, adapt, and evolve, because nature dictates that no matter what the strongest will always survive. And to be sure that a certain species survives throughout the generations, it will evolve and adapt. Each Generation a little different than the last. But I dont believe that excludes God from the picture. Why does it have to be one or the other? I believe that God guides and watches as what He/She/They created, grow and change into different and wonderful things. I believe that God does exist but lets His/Her/Their creations live and grow as they will. I am a believer in both God and Evolution.

Yes, I do believe in God. If there was no god how do we explain the spiritual feeling that we get from time to time? How do we explain all of the miracles that happen every day. The answer is that we can't. But since i have been little I have been intrigued about God and have always wanted to find out more about the bible and God and the ways that he would like for us to live our lives from day to day. All I can say is that the day God calls me home I only hope and wish that i have served him and followed him in the best way that I know how.

I believe in the formless and eternal Tao.
I do not believe in "God" because...
1) The Problem of Evil. Why would a great, good and knowing God create a world filled with suffering and evil. Wouldn't he destroy it all if he was good and knowing?
2) Teleological Problems. If God created everything wouldn't that also mean he would have to have created himself? Or he was created by something else making him NOT all-powerful and not "God".
3) Lack of evidence. There is not one peice of evidence for anything people have seen, heard, or thought about God.
Just a few...

Yes, I do believe in God. I believe in Him because of a number of reasons. First, it was my faith in Him. Now, as I have grown older, He has shown Himself in so many ways in my life! His love, strength, forgiveness, peace and so on is very prevelent when you have a daily relationship, through prayer, with Him. The closer you draw to Him, the more you cannot deny His existance!
One example in my life of what I mean.... My daughter, Cindy, had a kidney transplant ten years ago. I donated a kidney to her. Well, two years later, the doctors told her that she could become pregnant if she wanted too as she was doing very well with the transplant.
Two months later, Cindy started trying to get pregnant. She did. In her fifth month, they did a test to check to make sure the anti-rejection drugs had not caused any severe birth defects. This caused Cindy to lose her fluid and the baby died in utero. Two weeks later, we found out that the baby was dead.
Three months passed and Cindy had become very ill and could not keep anything down. As a result, the kidney dehydrated and the doctors thought it was kidney rejection...it was not! So, they gave ( bombarded) her with a drug called okt3...it either stops the rejection or, kills the kidney or, perhaps the patient!
It was at this time I lost all trust in the doctors! I turned all my trust to God and spilled my heart out to Him! Cindy developed meningitis of the brain as this was one of the side effects of the okt3!... Well, it can be and in Cindy's case, it was! Still, I held fast to God's Word and promises, through prayer. On Friday, I was told that she would NEVER leave the hospital again as she was dying. Something inside me did not accept what the doctors were saying and I felt a peace which is not known to us during such times!! So, I called all the people who I knew would pray and my grandson, who was six at the time, wanted to go and pray for his mother at her bedside. We left and went to the hospital and soon after we arrived, he annointed her with oil and prayed that God would save his momma.
On The following Tuesday morning, Cindy came home with us and was feeling well! No more fevers and no more pain! Now, she did need another transplant at this time but, I believe with all my heart that our prayers were answered and that the peace I had was directly from GOD!
Cindy is still on dialysis but, is awaiting another transplant. Even so, she works, lives as though she is healthy and knows that God gave her more time to be with her only son! She is beautiful inside and out!! Another proof that God is alive and well and abides with my daughter!

I believe in God,but I am not a religous person nor do I go to church. The reason I believe in God is because in my younger days I had problems with Alcohol, and drugs, mostly alcohol. I was it the lowest point in my life, and I was on the verge of suicide. I was standing on a bridge getting ready to throw myself over, and with tears in my eyes I said God if you exist I am giving control of my life to you, because my way isn't working anymore. That was almost 17 years ago,and I have been sober ever sence. I don't care if non belivers give me a thumbs down or if people believe that story or not. It's every bit true, and I thank god every day for what he has done for me.

There are people to Believe, to Trust with faith. How much deep faith does anyone have to clue out that your faith is such and such...? When you are walking together a freind can you detect whehter he/she believes or not, whitout asking the backgrounds. I believe, but how do you know exactly that you believe to HIM? And if he comes down with a shape of anything GIANT ;more than one which one is god you know?

I believe in God. For me.. too many things have happened in my life for me to believe that it was just coincidence. However.. i think everyone can believe in whatever they please. I think religion should help an individual become a better person without harming others.. and in the end.. if that's what it is doing for you.. then that's all that matters
