Is it wrong to be turned off by a possible relationship because the other has more sexual experience than you? My friend whom I like has had about 10 partners, I have had 2. Granted hers were more one-nighters and mine were 2 relationships of 1 year and 3 years. Anyways, shallow of me?

You might have more sexual experience than her b/c you were in a some/what long relationship, more intimacy, more sex going on. If her experiences were just 10 times, I bet yours were more in those 4 years. I wouldn't look down on her, maybe she just hasn't found the guy for her, is it you?

No, a relationship (a serious one that is) should be based on trust. Having the knowledge that your partner sleeps around will always be at the back of your mind. Can you trust your partner when he/she is away from you or seem to be a wee bit more friendly to another person? If this bothers you, then do not get serious. You're not shallow. We are all unique in our own way, shaped by nature and nurture.....

30 years ago, I'd not have had a problem at all. Hey is was the '70's and sex was free and easy.

Now days, with so many STD's that penicillin won't cure...... things are somewhat different.

I can't throw rocks at you for being turned off by her past sexual history. But neither will I condemn the lady on the information you've given.

All I can say is follow you heart amigo. And don't throw away a possible good deal because of past indiscretions.

Everyone has different ideas when it comes to sex. You should never do something that you are uncomfortable with.
