We are adopting a female boxer from someone that is moving out of the country and cannot take her with her. She is 6 years old and her name is Sexy. I have two boys, 5 & 7 and really do not want to stand on the porch yelling "Sexy, where are you.. Any name ideas that sound like sexy or close to it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks..

You have to leave her name or make a real subtle change because she is only going to be confused. She is also going to be very stressed due to the new envirnment. Think about her for now and make her transition as smooth as possible.

or you can completely change it they do get used to a new name believe me i breed and own Siberian Huskies and a lot of them come to be from people who don't want them anymore, are moving or something and sometimes I keep the name sometimes I have to change it. A lot of the times they didn't even answer to thier old names but they answer to their new ones now. I have Picaro, Samson, Abigail, Princess Kazaa of Siberia (princess), Rose or Rosa, and Delilah

My boxer's name is Abby and it totally fits her with those cute little jowls!!
I love boxers and their sweet faces. Adorable.
But what's wrong with Sexy? So classy!!!! Puhleeze! Who named her that?
Maybe something that sounds like Sexy, so she'll learn it fast, like Suzie or something.

Ah - my widespread breed! nicely - my (woman) boxers call is Kira and her brothers call (my sister in rules boxer) is Benson. Others... The 4 beginning up sires of the breed further over from Germany have been named: SIGURD VON DOM DORIAN VON MARIENDORF LUSTIG VON DOM UTZ VON DOM reliable success!

Mexi, Rexi, Dexi, Hexi or ask previous owners if they ever use another term of endearment to call her, we have a Maremma and her name is Zoya but she answers if we call her Bean as we started to call her Soya Bean and our Boxer's name is Daisy, but we tend to call her Daisy Duck so now she will answer to Duck.
