Initially I was all stupid,in love but even then,I had doubts that he isn't really into me as I am into him.He tells me the sweetest things on email or when he calls (talk is cheap anyways)but whenever he comes back to town, he would always make it a point to see me first but that's it.(one day with him is all I get)Then he wouldn't want to make time for me. He has many friends to catch up with and sometimes would rather hit the gym than meet up.Bottomline, he is full of excuses on not seeing me.I've had enough and decided to come clear with him.I don't want to continue and be taken for a fool. He is nice to me still but I'd rather remain platonic buds. But thing is,I don't like to break up (over emails / text) and wanted to set things clear by talking.He called and gave excuses again.I got fed up and told him we just talk another day but he called immediately and wants to talk but only late at night when he's free. I'm thinking of calling it quits just like that. Cold turkey. Would u?

I have read through all the answers I had so far..thank you so much for responding..yes even to some of you who sounded like jerks..lol..Actually I have made up my mind to lose him. Prob' I do like him a hell lot but know what..not so anymore..as I read everyone's opinion..the more sure i am his a jerk and needs to get the boot.
Going to lay off men for a while...BTW, I'm not FAT nor UGLY nor FUGLY nor BORING.=) I know I deserve better, just I think I need to sort myself out first. The reason I keep meeting jerks time and again is because of myself. I need to learn to love myself more..getting there..

a relationship, friendship or any other relation can work only when you both have set your targets you want to achieve out of it. the main ingredients of a true relationship are trust, loaytly and honesty and respect for each other. it's for you to evaluate your partner whether he fits in anywhere. good luck and all the best.

Hmmm, from what you said sounds like you're already platonic friends, unless you're not providing all the details...
For instance you guys are long distance communicate via email,text and phone, when you see each other physically only for 1 day... Is he leading you to believe that it's more? if so tell him how you feel, if not then just take it for what it's worth and be open to others around you...

No matter how much you like this guy, if he's making you feel this bad, then call it quits. In person is not as great as you might think because you might feel pressure to stay with him (they can be so charming and stubborn in person). Break up over the phone so that you don't have to see him again and what's done is done. No turning back. Set yourself free.

I wouldn't even waste my time trying to talk to him.
Know in your mind it is over and then all of a sudden you don't have any time for him.
Even if you are sitting at home by yourself and he calls you don't answer the phone, next time he rings answer but say you can't talk your flat out talk soon bye!
See how he likes it when you act like him.
Truth be known if a man really likes you he would do anything to spend time with you.

Are u BORING?
Are u dangerous to be around, meaning have u ever been on probation of any kind?
- If u answered yes to any of those questions, then u do the math.
- If you answered no to all of them, then my advice is to get a life and find some body who won't treat you like S***

if he's not putting forth any effort to see you more than 1 day when he comes.. I would. So he has friends? Why can't you hang out with him and his friends sometimes? He may be sweet, but it takes 2 to make a relationship work. It takes effort from both people to make it work.

He is playing you for a fool. You deserve a guy who makes time for you when YOU want to talk, not just when it is ok with him. I've had LDR and they can work but only if both people work hard and want them to. Find a new guy who is as into you as you are into them. I have been in your place, i was far more in love with my x than she was with me but your better off without someone who uses you.

But, still Long distance love affairs don't work easily.
And in this case...FORGET IT
Next time he calls, tell him YOU'VE got PLANS and he'll just have to call or see you next time he's around, keep doing that and he'll get the hint.

it seems like as if hes just using u. come on! whu the hell can b so busy until like this. it makes no sense. yes! it is better to tok to him face to face or on the fone and discuss this wit him. then, if u think tt hes still worth it, then u can go ahead. if u think hes not, then the least u chld do is jus b frenz wit him and break up. i know its realli hard. but u hav to try. jus try! dont drag it too long. i tink its better if u dont discuss wit him. coz he whld giv excuses again. just tell him off his face and break up. u can do it in a harsh or low way.
