All the modern monotheistoc religions- yes. The pantheistic and pagan religions-no. The religions that stem from Judaism- Christianity and Islam. Hinduism predates Judaism and is pantheistic, Budhism does not stem from Judaism, nor does Shintoism. Modern cults like Hare Krishna, Scientology, Moonies, Raelians, Falung Gong etc all have nothing to do with Judaism.

Depends on which 'time line' you believe in.
If you only believe in and/or depend upon one record of history, then no, Judaism would NOT be the oldest religion, as there are LOTS of other or older 'religions'.
However, if you only count Islam, Christianity and Judaism as being the only bonafide religions, then yes, it would seem to be true what you say is true.
However, there is one 'time line' you can discover when you study ancient wisdom (theosophy; Alice Bailey/DK and HP Blavatsky for instance) is that the first 'inhabitant' also called in the Bible as "The Ancient Of Days" (or Adam) came to this earth (along with many others) some 23 million years ago. And that He (The Ancient Of Days--and the FIRST Adam) was in fact 'the first' to inhabit the earth. And therefore, if you believe in the ancestral records found in the biblical, then you could say that Judaism IS the oldest 'religion'. However, it was NOT known (nor practiced) as Judaism.
Don't believe it?
Then ask yourself two simple questions.
Was Abraham (common father of Christianity, Islam and Judaism) a Jew? No, he was from Ur, in the land of Chaldeas--or modern day Iraq. (!?)
Was Noah a Jew? No, he was a, and/or from Mesopotamia.
Then what IS 'a jew' or what IS 'judaism'??? Or better yet, ask yourself and/or discover what an Israelite is, and you wil have the real answer to the real question that should be being asked here. ;-)
One of the correct translations of "Israel" means, "To Prevail As God".
So "...in the beginning..." it is possible that 'religion' had absolutely NOTHING to do with any of it. And that later on, 'religion' was created for some OTHER reason than to 'acknowledge, recognize and worship' God (?)

The big 3 (Judaism, Christianity and Islam) all go back to Abraham. So they ascended in that order. There are way more religions in the world than those 3. The Egyptians clearly didn't have anything to do with Judaism. And Eastern philosophy/religion are as far away from Judaism as it gets.

NO. Judaism wasn't the first religion, so all religions could not possibly have origins from Judaism.

No not all religions have a basis in Judaism. But Christianity, Judaism and Islam all have roots in Judaism.

Interesting but untrue. The Bible points to Babylon as the origin of false religion, (Genesis 11:2-9)

No. However, the three major monotheistic religions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam) all have connections back to Judaism.

Certainly there were religions--such as that practiced in ancient Egypt--which predate Judaism. Today, the only **living** religion of which I'm aware that predates Judaism is Zoroastrianism. And by the way, Zoroastrianism is monotheistic!

History shows that prior to Judaism, during Egyptian Culture, God was considered to be a woman. Religion had the power to change God's gender. What will religion do to God next?

As a Muslim, I will tell you what Muslims believe. We believe that Adam was the first worshipper of God (and a Prophet). He wasn't really a jew, but he believed in One God. There were other Prophets who also preached One God, then came the Jews (I don't know how they got the name) with Abraham. Then, from Isaac's lineage, came Jesus, who was a Jew, not a Christian. He obviously preached One God since he was Jewish. 300 years after his death Constantine of Contantinople thought it would be better to incorporate pagan beliefs into Christianity (ie the trinity, Christmas, and Easter), so this was the origins of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Why is Christianity even considered a Monotheistic religion if they have three Gods? Anyways, in the 7th century Muhammad (SAWS) was born and he preached Islam which also teaches the belief in One God. Muhammad was a desendant of Abraham's other son Ishmeal, which Christians love to call "Abraham's illigitimate child", acccusing this righteous Prophet of adultery. We believe that Hagar was his wife, along with Sarah. So, not all religions have origins back to Judiasm, but the three Monotheistic religions do. Teena
