I am overweight too. I drink a lot more water than I used to, and it fills me up most of the time. I use a sugar free grape flavoring I buy at the market to make my water more "interesting" or else I would not drink it. ( I like sodas, and water is boring!) No Dr will tell you that plenty of water is not good. I won't tell you to exercise, although that is good too, because I don't want to be a hypocrite! I am lazy.
I hope other people have good tips for you. Hang in there!

Sure...there are many easy things that you can do. First, start taking 30 minute brisk walks after school/work and do it seven days a week. Within a month, you will have lost 5-10 pounds...keep it up the rest of your life and you will stay looking good just the way you want. You can do it with a friend or get yourself a dog and take him/her. Or you could join Weight Watchers---my girlfriend did, and she lost the pounds in nothing flat. They have diets and meal plans even for eating out, and weekly classes that you can attend. The classes only cost $30/month and you get all the materials and meal plans as well. You can find them online or in your phone book. Their program is all about "portions", so you are still eating healthy, balanced meals and an occassional desert. Good luck!

Stop drinking sodas, even diet ones if you are. They are loaded with sodium which will cause you to retain water, this is on top of the sugar they add to your diet. This is a biggie. Stop eating white bread, potatoes of any kind, except sweet potatoes. Don't eat cereals, crackers, or white rice. Oatmeal or cheerios are an exception. If you use milk, try soy or skim. Keep milk to a minimum. Eat fresh fruit, vegs, and stick to chicken, fish, or turkey. Just these little modifications can take 20 or more pounds off in as little as 2 weeks. Good luck.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

The body retains fat and fluid in response to toxins in the environment. In order to get lasting weight loss you must rid the body of the toxins AND eat healthy. There is a cleansing product that provides good nutrients and a total body cleanse for lasting weight loss.
The community guidelines prevent me from mentioning the name here. But you can email me for more info.

check out nutritional websites like http://www.smartshape.com.au
just watch what you eat, and start doing a little more exercise. pick activities that you enjoy and work up from there. try and start with 20-30 mins and then add 5mins each week.
you don't have that much to lose so it may take a little longer than someone who needs to lose 30+kgs. don't be too concerned with weight loss to start with. first try to have fun with exercise, because if you enjoy it, you'll do it more and for longer.

stairs instead of elevators, park farther away, eat less drink more, excersise heavy one day and light the next, Walk at a high pace, play sports and youll gett a work out and have some fun too, swimming, jogging running, sprinting, fast walking, oh and if you run on a regular basis do it on a soft surface, better workout and less joint impact, dancing, crunches, sit ups, being more active, stop snacking, work hard!

Beest Wishes!

Exercise and watch what you eat. If you want recipes or exercises, buy a fitness magazine, workout video, gym pass, or cookbook.

Cut your sugar and bread intake. It always helps. Also,. you have to workout and burn more calories than you eat.

You don't have to do any crash dieting, if you just scale back on your food intake and ramp up your exercise, you will lose.
