When I was a kid I saw my mom sitting
in a chair watching T.V. I was bored so I
started shooting spitballs at the back of her head.
She turned around and saw me with the straw and gave me a smile and as soon as
she turned around to watch T.V. again
splat another one right between the ears.
the excitement wasnt her getting up to give
me a whopin "but when" was the big question.
I know god doesnt want to send every lost
soul to hell, I believe even after he comes and goes he gives man a choice not to take the mark.
There are many things that have to come to passed before he makes his move and
maybe a lot of those things arent written.
It might be the things to come that many have to be born to learn then die to complete his heaven.
I know god has plans beyond hell that is just as important to him and us as well.

You mean for Judgement Day? It says in Islam as well as Christianity (I am Muslim) that noone knows the hour except God. He is probably giving us a chance to do what's right. It is all a part of the master plan. Teena

Well; for one thing, God is waiting for us to experience life OUR way - apart from him in our lives and to experience the system we all live in no matter what it is. Can you just picture Jesus at His return to Earth after war, famine, diseases and invasions have extracted their toll, and someone saying to Him, " I would really like to have self-rule back again ! It is all part of God's Devine plan for all of us humans on earth to experience life as we know it now with all its good, bad and ugly. One thing you can be assured of is when Jesus Christ implements His system here, on the earth - war, famine, disease and death will dissipate. In the end - we ALL WIN !

(2 Peter 3:9) Jehovah is not slow respecting his promise, as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with YOU because he does not desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance.
God is giving us time to change our ways.
He has given us two thousand years to try every type of government. None have really succeeded.
(Jeremiah 10:23) I well know, O Jehovah, that to earthling man his way does not belong. It does not belong to man who is walking even to direct his step.

"The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance." 2 Peter 3:9

He desires that ALL men come to know Him, It is because of His love and patience that He is withholding His ultimate judgment.

He's not really "waiting" .... he goes on with his beingness. However, he will be overjoyed when his creations finally join him again.
