Nope, life is too short. I try to weigh my decisions by asking, "If I die tomorrow is this how I would want to spend my last day?" If it is not how I would want to spend my last day then I do not do it.
The other question I like to ask, "Am I reacting out of love or fear?" If the answer is "fear", I do not do it.
It does not sound like you would want to spend your last day at this job, and it sounds like taking this job would be fear based and all about money. Loving yourself means doing what you love and makes you happy. If you do what you love you will make money at it.
Why do you care what your boyfriend thinks? My husband hates my job, but I love myself enough to expect him to love me unconditionally. If your man does not love you unconditionally, then maybe a new job is not all you need.

Happiness is the best thing in the world,And if you attitude affects your relationship with your boy friend, why would he insist that you take the job, he see you are not happy with the job and it make you strike out at him, I don;t care how much money it is, nothing is worth going into a job everyday and been miserable, it also is not good for you health., go some were else get a job and be happy in what ever you do.If no one makes you happy, than make you self happy, I would think that you boyfriend would want that for you happiness.

Greetings,
Why should he care what you do?? You're an independent person (I assume you are not living together)....if so, then it's a problem because you're both using each other for sex and money (paying bills).
It's important to be happy with your job, the happier you are, the better you will be at it and the quicker you can advance in the company (plus more money!!). A job that you hate only bleeds you of your time, life and happiness. Health is important, without it you go nowhere.
Good day and good luck!

If it were me, I would take the money.
Then again, I do things on the side to open doors to new opportunities all the time.
In short, I'd go with the full time better paying position, and keep working toward my own better opportunity.

I would take the job and still look for the job I like, then I would leave the job i hate as soon as i find the job I like. This way I wouldn't lose the good oppotunity and make some money until I find what I want.

No. I did that once, worked the job for two years, and had to quit for the stress of it. Had I known then what I know now, I never would have accepted it. Leave it to someone who would enjoy it and listen to your heart.

no I would not...simply because it's gonna pay a toll on the rest of your life...if your job makes you unhappy you ain't instantly gonna be happy when you get off work...it's gonna stress you and ultimately affect your social life....

Simple, no! I wouldn't waste even a year doing something I hate and that puts me down.
