I have many blessings, a wonderful husband, a job I prayed for
and got (after doing 20 years of shiftwork I prayed for a day shift job that would pay the same or more , I was blessed with a job which is dayshift and pays $8,000 a year more). I am blessed with 1500 christian friends, a home, lovely garden, 2 pets, the love of Jesus, the comfort of the Holy Spirit and a God who thinks I am his special princess! What more could I want?.

I have the greatest gift from God. And I'm not bragging about myself, I am just reporting it to you.
What is that gift? JEALOUSY. Didn't expect that, did you?
I want to be close to God more than anyone else on Earth, and I get jealous if someone else has that over me. You see, one time I became aware that David expressed something that I didn't have:
Psalm 42:1
As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God.
I thought, " What is THAT? Why don't I have that? What is that like?"
So I prayed on it. And not long after that, I got it. It's a deep desire. It goes in through my heart making me tire of this life, but even more it makes me desire to be with him. I feel so many parts of the Bible because of this. We are pilgrims on a journey, this world is not my home, rejoice that your names are written in heaven, cast your cares upon me, etc.
This 'life' that I have here, it's so short. It's full of bad things. It's rotten and shameful. It's full of decay. And see off in the distance? The great ending that God has prepared for us? The eternal life and all the wonders that God will bring to us. Sometimes I think that God can hardly wait for the wonder we will have in our eyes that he will see us with. The joy he must get when he sees us understand what he's done with us. I am awestruck by his love and his fatherly giving.
Whoa!

Blessing-undeserved gift or happiness that comes from God--Whatever comes from God is pure and good, but the word responsibility comes from it so that it will not become bane.Having a family as we all do is a "joy"or blessing but how are we going to do with them is our responsibility as our response to that gift.

I have TONS of blessings from God but the biggest one that I can think of right now is the ability to see the Truth and the ability to see the light of Islam.

Allah has blessed me every day of my life. If I wake up, I am blessed. If I eat, I am blessed. If I can see, I am blessed. If I can hear, I am blessed. I can type, I am blessed. I can share the message of Allah, I am blessed.
