So i asking what could happen to are world if the bible didn't come out? Do you think we would still be close to a loving and kind world?... more or less

If this bible hadn't been written, something else would have been. Parts of the Bible are great moral resources and show a slow progress. The "eye for an eye" statute was considered a vast improvement over the disproportionate retaliation people had come to expect. By the time it got to Jesus, it was up to "Love your enemies." Admirable but pretty darn radical.

Of course people like to write important things down so they don't actually have to remember them. Then they're free to remember trivial stuff like how many children Jacob had or just when Jesus cursed the fig tree. If they hadn't written it down, they'd only be able to focus on the important stuff, and maybe, just maybe we'd have a kinder world.

mmmmm...i'm PRETTY SURE it's called the Dark Ages...you know, when humanity was at its most degraded morally, ethically, economically and scholastically.

the spread of the gospel and the opening of the Bible (beginning with Martin Luther in 1417) allowed people to become more educated, because the Bible (actually) standardized language and the standard of human living / literacy improved.

get this piece of history. Martin Luther's translation of the Bible from an incomprehensible and, ultimately, unbeneficial, langauge into the German vernacular opened literacy within the country. Not only that, Gutenburg, credited with inventing movable type printing in Europe (ca. 1450) and became a model for standardized language, had his major work as the Gutenberg Bible, also known as the 42-line bible, has been ACCLAIMED for its high aesthetic and technical quality.

so you have all these outward effects but INWARDLY, light came; it was no longer the dark ages. and where there is light, there is life, growth and development.

you can speak like that becuase there IS the Bible. If we didn't have the Bible we probably wouldn't be able to read. Don't undermine your literacy; it has a lot to do with the Bible.

so hug it. it's your friend.

Without the Bible, an AWFUL LOT of history would not have happened... history would be tremendously different from today.

The Crusades would not have happened, nor The Spanish Inquisition ("NO ONE expects the Spanish Inquisition!"). Exploration of the "New World" would not have happened to the extent it did.

That seems to be a very negative list by today's standards. However, there are many positive things in history that have happened which were influenced or inspired by the Holy Bible.

Mother Theresa... Salvation Army... Many large and small scale humanitarian efforts are directly and indirectly caused by the Bible. In fact, on a personal level, there's a "local" hospital which was founded by the Sisters of Charity to provide medical help to everyone who needed it, regardless of ability to pay. The hospital "forgave" a bill that totalled over $30,000 due to inability to pay.

Safe to say, however, the world and it's history would be drastically different if it were not for the Bible.

ok, the super Flood supposedly coated the Earth with sufficient water to cover the mountaintops sufficient that there grow to be no land everywhere. to try this, you will possibly choose sufficient water to extend sea point by a minimum of one mile. This water then receded. To the place? Water is incompressible, so it did no longer cut back. Ice is far less dense than water (inspite of each and every thing, ice cubes flow...) so it quite is no longer interior the polar ice caps. It did no longer disappear into the floor considering that lots water could no longer exist interior the mantle without dissolving incredibly some the softer rock. It did no longer exchange into steam and go out the ambience by fact water is merely too heavy to flee the Earth. Gravity, you comprehend, won't enable heavy issues bypass too severe. So the place did the water bypass? the simplest answer is that the flood did no longer take place. consequently, ... that's something fake interior the Bible. opt to attempt for greater?

Without the Bible, the whole world will soon be demonized. At present the Bible is used mainly by the spiritual government for its spiritual history. This is so as there are two parallel govts. One is the human government where the Bible is not the law but the man-made constitutions and is called in the Bible the GOVT of the Beasts. The other one is the spiritual government where the Bible is the law through the churches, priests, pastors, ministers, saints, prophets though imperfect but repentant like King David. Likewise, King David belonged to the spiritual govt and St Francis of Assissi and were appointed or called by THE LORD GOD. One hand, the Presidents, senators, congresssmen, mayors and corporate and social leaders all belonged to the human govt called the Kingdom of the beasts in the dog eat dog world. And they are designated by satan (Luke 4:6). In fact, the divine plan is that the whole world is placed under the deceptions and swaying of satan and that in the endtimes it will be fully fulfilled as the whole earth will be a home of demons and a visitations of evil spirits. Our living hope per divine plan is the goodnews of the coming KIngdom (govt) of HEAVEN under the LORD JESUS CHRIST ruling with justice, righteousness and lovingkindness and not this kingdom of men with all bad news spiritually speaking and in contrast to the Kingdom (govt) of GOD and of Christ.

without any claims of divine authority on morality, people would have tried to figure it out for themselves (you know, like Africa, America, and Asia did in real life). The societies that succeeded in creating a healthy moral code would have thrived, and the ones without one would go extinct (we would evolve, if you will). As the different societies advanced, they would come into contact more and have more power at their fingertips, and there would be a constant struggle between those who wanted to cooperate and those who wanted to exert domination. The dominant ones would appear to have an advantage, but most people are good at heart (maybe) so who knows.

All in all, not much different, except we wouldn't hate gay people, or be afraid of stem cell research and evolution.

You mean without the book which includes verses such as this....

Baby Bashing

"Happy those who seize your children and smash them against the rock" Psalm 137-9

Gods Slaughter

"In that day those the Lord has slaughtered will fill the earth from one end to the other. No one will mourn for them or gather up their bodies to bury them. They will be scattered like dung on the ground" Jeremiah 25-33

A whole lot better I should think!

I think that all humans are born with what I call Moral Instincts.

In this case, I think that there would still be things that would be immoral to committ because we would have this set of Moral Instincts such as it is wrong to kill and steal.

But, I also think that without some kind of Bible or religion to give people hope.........it would all fall apart.

Think about it.......Why do you care what is right or wrong if you have nothing to lose...such as your soul?

May the Mercy of God be with you and God Bless.

There is a part in the Bible, Hebrews 8:7, that says there will come a time when man will not have to remind his neighbor of the Lord for it will be written in their minds and hearts.
