find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

First you'll want to look at what you're eating and also how much. Start with eating 5-6 small meals rather than 2 or 3 large meals. Try eating fresh food instead of processed and packaged food. You would also benefit from limiting soda intake by gradually replacing with water. For more diet tips try www.smartshape.com.au
Now for exercise. Quite simply, just move more than you do now. Doing some form of activity that YOU enjoy will give you the best results. You can start by just walking around the block for 20-30 mins. Aim to increase either your speed or distance weekly and try to maintain a moderate to high intensity. You should include some stretching and resistance training. Being 14, I would suggest starting with some bodyweight exercises like squats, lunges, chinups and pushups. Have some fun with this and get friends and family involved.
Ignore anyone that tries to pull you down. You should do this for yourself and no one else. Do your research and ask questions, it is the only way to learn.

it is not healthy to lose a lot of weight in a short amount of time. researches showed that human will gain much more in a short amount of time when they lose a lot of weight in a short amount of time. the weight you gained after the lost would be harder to lose!
the ideal weight to lose is a bout 1-3kg a month steadily depends on your body type, your diet and daily routine (including exercise).
therefore to lose 50-70 pounds you need about 3-4 years.
starving is not the way. breakfast is vital to lose weight. breakfast should be the heaviest meal (the portion should be what you can put into your palms put together)and dinner should be the lightest. eat 5-6 small meals a day.
set your goal monthly to lose 2-3kg a month, you will feel lighter, better and healthier in the end.

Do you have money for apple cider vinegar? It only costs about 2 dollars for a huge bottle. Go buy some. Then drink one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar after every meal. It's supposed to help suppress the appetite and burn off calories.
I am trying it right now. I've only been doing it for about 3 days though, so I don't see any results yet.
You could also start to go for walks to get your body moving and shed a few pounds. It's always good to get out and go for a brisk 30 minute walk. It makes your body feel good !
You could start asking your mom to cook healthier meals such as using less butter/oil/cream in the dishes. And ask her to add more vegetables and lean meats to the meal.
Go to the grocery store with mom and shop for lots of fruits and vegetables such as cantaloupe, bananas, cucumbers, baby carrots, apples, canned or fresh peaches, broccoli, cauliflower, etc..and then snack on them instead of sweets or potato chips.
Another good alternative is low fat or fat free yogurt. Eat yogurt instead of sweets or junk food.
Anytime the family is having take-out or fast food, you can say "No" to it. While they are eating their fast food, you can be eating a meal of 1/2 cup of oatmeal, with 8oz of milk and 20 chunks of cantaloupe(or 1 banana), and you'll be the healthy one!
You can also get some canned soups that are low in fat and calories. Eating soups and salads with fat free dressings is a good idea.
There is a wide variety of low fat-fat free deli meats at the grocery store, you can get fat free mayo, fat free deli meat and 100% whole wheat bread and make yourself some yummy and nutritious sandwiches.
So between the healthy soups, salads, sandwiches, yogurt, oatmeal, fruits, veggies, exercise and apple cider vinegar..I think you will be losing weight in no time! You'll be more comfortable in your own skin and clothes and healthy.
Good Luck! and *hugs*
