This may just be the way your system works but if it used to be different, you may not be getting enough fiber in you. Google and type in fiber foods and get a list to work with and start incorporating those into your diet and see if things improve.
I don't like the products in the stores since some are diluted and some have been sitting in warehouses for who knows how long so I take Shaklee HerbLax which is all natural ingredients. Take 2 every day and see if it doesn't help, plus it will help cleanse your colon of additives and things in food that build up on the colon wall which keep you from absorbing the nutritional qualities from your foods (and can possibly cause cancer).

You wouldn't have any bowel movements or pass any gas, and you would be vomiting. On average it takes food 24 hours to be digested, so I think you are fine.

I think you are normal, why fret about something that is not wrong with you? Your body system is different from everyone else. If in doubt, go to your doctor. He will have the right answers.

You would have severe pain, in a localized area. Eight hrs doesn't seem that long to me.
