It is juicy and sweet. Choose the one with porous sound and heavy so it is heavy and contains water. It must have a narrow bore so it does not have too much white flesh.

Watermelon tastes like summer. It's the taste of red color of the rainbow after a tropical shower. It's as sweet as the freshest honey and refreshing as the crisp fresh water from the highest alps. One bite and you will fall in love. Watermelon. It's the taste of summer.

to be honest with you. most people dont know what watermelon tastes like. especially folks who live in the cities. the reason i say this is, a watermelon doesnt create the majority of its sugar by photosynthesis until about two days before its ready. when a watermelon is ripe, it gets ripe just all of a sudden. now, commercial watermelon farms have to pick their melons a little early to ensure they arrive at the grocery store before they ruin, therefor they havent created all of the sugar they can. find a farmers market in early to mid july (harvest season in the south) and try one.

Watermelon is of course, mostly water and natural sugars, and it tastes GREAT. Sweet, fruity, cool, refreshing, and when the juice dries, because of the huge sugar content, gets quite sticky. And as an added benefit, you get to spit the seeds! Or pop them between your fingers at your buddies across the campfire! Not only does watermelon taste good, but it has built in entertainment!

All melons style diverse. Watermelon does not style something like cantaloupe, and is often very juicy. it could be nicely worth finding out to purchase a minimum of a slice on the food market to verify in case you like it.

like water with lotsa sugar with a mushy sawdust texture.. it's really terrible tasting to me! it's one of the worst sweet things I've ever tasted.. Anyone that thinks it to be good must like putting sugar in water and drinking that apparently! Watemelon is Yecky too sweet and too watery with a bit mushiness!

Pretty good and watery. Its very juicy and somewhat sweet. its not highly sweet so its great for a diabetic. If you're looking to eat one try a more elongated one. They are usually sweeter than the round ones are. The come in seedless and with seeds. Personally the ones with seeds are better. Some people eat them with a dab of salt. You should try it!
