all you people do is stating the materials you heard from people around you all your life since you were young and you store that in your brains and turn it into "facts". If no one has ever told you about god, heaven, and evil.. never took you to church, for the first 18 years of your life.. would you have say the same thing about jesus if I ask you this question again?

How do you know Genghis Khan, Leif Erickson, Montezuma, King David, Moses, Buddha, Confucius or even your great-great-great-great grandparent existed? There are no pictures of them. Historical written and oral traditions that's how.

Probably the reason you cant find sources is because you either dont know where to look, or dont care to look. If you would like to know more about such things I suggest the writings of FF Bruce. He is one of the most well known scholars on the NT today.

The Bible is not a book, it is a volume of books written by 40 different authors over a period of history spanning many centuries and cultures.

We know Jesus isnt a fictional character because 4 different sources from the time confirm that in fact a man that claimed to be king of the jews named Jesus suffered and was crucified under pontius pilate. And the NT is the testimony concerning him.

God can make people pregnant the same way he can part the red sea, or reverse blindness, make the lame walk, or drive out a demon. Jesus himself is the author of life and creation.

I tried to think of a quick answer for you maybe even without quotes from the Bible...but I don't think I can explain it either way. I do however hope that I can explain enough that if you wish to contact me, I would be very happy to try and keep explaining your questions about Jesus.

First of all you have to know that the Bible is the MOST documented book in world history. (With some research I could give you some web sights to look at, but Ill not overwhelm you just yet)

Old Testament prophecies stated that the Messiah would be a direct descendant of Abraham who was the father off all the Jews, and a direct descendant of David.

In Luke chapter 1 verses 26-37 God sent the angel Gabriel to Mary and told her she was going to have a child. Mary asked the angel "how will this be since I am a virgin"? Verse 35 The angel answered, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one will be call the Son of God."

This is an very good link to do some research for yourself. If you have other questions, please contact me and will do my best to answer them for you.

Actually the bible was written by prophets and disciples, etc. that God created, it did not come out of nowhere. So just like the other people on earth that were created having been birthed into the world, so was Jesus (minus the sexual intercourse) and as for Mary giving birth without having sex, well, that just shows God can make miracles.

While the Bible is not a history or science textbook (it is a series of faith books), it presents much that is historical. The New Testament, which presents something of the life of Jesus, was written by men who received the stories of Jesus from those who had known him. In those earliest of Christian years, there is no record of anyone who claims that the New Testament is fiction or that Jesus was not historical. People gave up their lives because they believed the truth of the Gospels, that Jesus lived, taught, died an ignominious death, was buried and yet was seen by his followers after his death, showing that he was very much alive.

With God nothing is impossible. The story in the Gospel of Luke has an angel telling Mary that she is to be the mother of Jesus. When Mary says that she "does not know man," she is told that the birth will happen because of the power of the Most High and the overshadowing of the Holy Spirit. Catholics and many other Christians have adopted the belief that was common in the earliest Christian years -- namely, that Mary was a virgin before, during and after the birth of her Son, Jesus. That is a matter of faith: one is willing to believe that it is true, although it cannot be fully understood.

I must commented u 4 ask such a question? I believe he is real well the bible has given us detail about his comming, when he came, there r alot of phophecies in the bible protaining information about Jesus. Like the prophecy at Isaish 7 : 14 that Jesus would be born of a virgin and it was fulfilled at Matthew 1: 18-25.

Mary was indeed avirgin and with the help of God's holy spirit she was impregnated so therefore Jesus was pure.

He died for our sins he suffered. Read the accounts of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John once more with a open mind look out for things like he had none of his bones broken prophecied at Psalms 34:20 and fulfilled John 19:33,36
Every one else who died on upon the stake had their bones broken, raised b4 corruption prophecied at Psalms 16:10 and fulfilled at Acts 2:24,27 . He was exalted to the right hand of God prohecied at Psalms 110:1 and fulfilled at Acts 7:56.

I am sure all these things took place even though i was not there but if u don't believe then u don't believe the bible is truely from God.

Read 1 Timonthy 3: 1-5 Do u see these things happening well i do i this i jus' one of many proof that the bible is from God.

Futher the bible was written by men to be exact 37 and others who all worship Jehovah God BUT Wat they wrote was not of their own they were borne with holy spirit and Jehovah God told them wat 2 write. It a book for teaching ,Disciplining etc read 2 Timonthy 3:16, 17.

To illustrate say i'm ur secretary and u need 4 me to write a letter 2 ur mother. I would write it but ur thoughts, ur needs would be in there. U want 2 tell her 2 come 2 ur house(say u r an adult ) i.e [if u r not] i would write it send it and when she receive she would know u didn't write because she knows ur hand writing but because of wat u told me 2 put in there she would know that it was indeed from u and that someone wrote it for u similarly Jehovah God use men to write the bible but with his laws.

To find out u more u could visit www.watchtower.org r contact me.

Because he was someone on earth around 2000 years ago, and over 220 books written by various peoples substantiate he did "exist." To "ask" a pertinent question of denial of someone, should have at least knowledge to substantiate these claims I hear from so many in this forum. Your next part of the question deals with the "birth" of Yezua (Jesus) Were you a medical expert you would know of invitro fertilization and that a woman does not have to have intercourse to conceive a child, NOR would a woman's hymen be broken by such a procedure, THUS "conception by a VIRGIN." Non- believers ask too many questions to stand firm on their convictions of denial, of which I can assure you have no chance against someone who has spent the majority of his life studying the truths of the Lord in heaven.....

The first four books of the New Testament are totally about who and why Jesus existed. Four books! No single individual wrote the Bible. Mary was chosen by God to bear his son,and she had to be virginal to do this so that Jesus wasn't born like normal people. Mary had other children after Jesus, but they were made in the normal way.

certainly, the jury remains out on in spite of if Jesus became an honestly individual, and not an amalgam of a number of middle jap preachers of the comparable era. there is not any concrete data that a guy stated as Jesus lived and preached in Palestine on the time stated interior the Gospels. nonetheless, i don't have a situation accepting that a guy stated as Jesus might have lived. He additionally died and became buried. end of tale. He became no longer the son of god nor became he divine. that would require the form of information no person has ever been in a position to grant.

it's so funny...

reading many of the questions under the "Religion & Spirituality" forum and the main topic of conversation is Christianity / Jesus. If He's so 'unreal' why is He such a consumming topic? I think all the attack against His integrity and existance stems from Satan's attempt to undermine His existance, highlighting just HOW real He really is but how much Satan doesn't want people to know about the Lord or believe into Him.

btw: check our your calendar -- i know they have it as BCE and CE now but WHY did time change around Christ? from Before Christ (BC) to in the year of our Lord (AD)? ...just wondering...cus i'm pretty sure i dont see Allah or Buddah doin' that.
