YES!
One 12-ounce can of non-diet soda (depending on type and brand) will contain between 120 and 200 Calories. Almost all of those Calories come from sugars.
Assuming you drink just one can of Coca Cola per day, that's 140 extra Calories every day, 51,100 Calories per year, which could equate to 15 pounds of fat gained every year.

Yeah pop makes you fat if you drink a lot, it is loaded with calories, I think one 20 oz bottle has almost 400 calories, you need an excess of 3500 calories to gain a pound, so if you drank like 9 bottles a day in addition to your regular diet you would gain a pound a day, a little over a bottle a day would be almost pound a week! That is almost 4 lbs a month. Pop is bad drink diet, none, or in moderation.

Are you referring to regular soda pop? If so, it can make you fat because it's wasted calories....sugar water that provides no nutrition for the calories. You'd be better off using those calories for something nutritious like fruit or skim milk. You don't need to drink any pop. If you're thirsty, drink water. :)

well soda is a lot of calories and sugar, and so it would contribute to weight gain, yes.
from your question, im not sure if youre trying to gain weight or stay away from that, but if you drink it a lot every day, you would probably gain some weight.
