If I broke my windows XP disc, but have my Registration Key, is there a way to recreate the disc using my windows operating system?

It depends on what edition you have installed on your system. If you purchased a retail box edition of Windows XP, you can then order a disk at Microsoft Supplemental Parts Desk at (800) 360-7561.

If you purchased an OEM version (preinstalled) then it depends on who sold you the computer. Many OEM manufacturers like Hewitt Packard do have a backup partition that you can burn to a CD. If no backup partition is on the computer, you will have to go back to the OEM manufacturer or the OEM System Builder to get a CD. If you are a registered OEM Microsoft System Builder, you can order a Windows XP OEM CD at http://oem.microsoft.com.

Otherwise, unless you have some kind of backup like Symantec Backup Exec System Recovery, there really is no way to recreate a CD of Windows XP.
