Don't think so.
Since I found Jesus as my Savior I stopped lying, stopped stealing, stopped using people, stopped drugs, stopped drinking, stopped smoking, stopped gambling, stopped cursing, stopped hating people, started helping people, started giving money away to worthy causes, always paid my bills, do volunteer work......
no, don't think so!

Prop: I'm a Christian. I am of an age in years where I have come to see the extent of the "good" in human beings in general, as being self-righteous at best. When humans are placed into a given circumstance where his or her integrity is tested, they all fail ! Everyone has their own hypocritical zone.
Whether Christian, atheist or agnostic. Crime is a choice and I have met no one yet, who hasn't broken a man-made law. Have you ever violated a traffic law ? What about lieing?
This "crime-forgiving Jesus" you allude to is in the crime forgiving business and since we ALL have violated the laws of the Supreme Court of Heaven, are we not in contempt of Court? Should we instead, apply our humanistic, self-righteous holier-than-thou judgments to those who God has forgiven. You without sin - cast the first stone. Crime is born out of frail humanistic inherent nature - not Jesus Christ although He takes responsibility for creating us.

Well, having law biding citizens being armed like a small army would make crime drop. Criminals, christian or not, would at least commit their crimes in fear of their lives. If the thief on the cross had been caught breaking into someones home at 3am, there would have been two crosses.

While Jesus did talk about forgiving those that do you wrong, your question is taking forgiveness out of context.
Jesus tells us to forgive others because we are all sinners. That is we as humans are not perfect. Since we want God to forgive us our errors, we must forgive others the errors they do to us.
This does not mean that if we break a law, we do not get punished. It just means that we do not let resentment build up to the point we hate, causing us to sin.
Also, God reads our hearts. He only forgives those that are truly sorry. They must repent, that is turn around and run the other way from thier sin.

I think you have something there. Story-wise alone, it is a dull world when you don't have to put your life on the line for selfish purposes. Some people commit crimes, because they want society to kill them, or they "defy" society to kill them. Perhaps this is true. It comes down to our self-worth. And what of those innocent ones who are framed in one way or other? There, too was a good story. At the expense of some poor suffering soul. What does prison teach us? What does death teach us?

Actually my muslim pagan friend, God will tell you that any Christian is more worthy than any atheist or muslim to go to heaven.
I myself do prison ministry and I've seen more genuine repentance there than anywhere. I'd trust some of those new Christians more than others I know in the free world.

Your a fool.. A real fool, because you don't see,, your eyes are closed, God loves us all, you to, and yes he would be willing to forgive a crime (or sin) because it would be his will that no man die for eternity, He only asks you to accept his son Jesus..
Does that mean you can go around killing people NO, because GOD KNOWS YOUR HEART<<< if you repent and don't MEAN it your going to hell, if you repent and are truly sincere God see that and yes is willing to forgive. BECAUSE his a awesome God a loving GOD A kind God, even though no one is worthy enough of his love..
You are such a fool to make fun of his gift..
Peaceful atheist why should he recognize you,? WHY you gave him no thought in life, he didn't exist to you...
So why should he allow you in heaven ...? Why?
Oh its because his a not fair or loving.. Nice try..
you choice your path don't blame my God for your choice.

No. Your question assumes in its premise that the worth/works of the individual is what gets you into heaven. This is not correct. It is the merit and works of Christ credited by grace through faith that allow one to enter into heaven.
I would also reason that you are confusing the processes of Justification and Sanctification.
Justification is a declaration of righteousness, that occurs by grace through faith. Santification is a process that one goes through following justification.
