You can put them up for adoption now already, but transfer them only at about 12 weeks when they are properly weaned.

The best age is probably 6 to 8 weeks old. If your really getting attached to them think about keeping one that you really love.

Any decent pedigree breeder in the UK would not let their kittens leave before 13 weeks, so I would advise the same with your little kittens. They learn their social skills from their mother and if they stay with the mother for the right length of time you get nice, healthy, sociable kittens. I can understand you getting attached to them, they are adorable aren't they?

When they are 8 weeks old, no earlier. They need to be with their mother and taking them away too early can cause problems later on. If you plan on finding homes for them yourself, I reccommend having people come over to look at them and pick one out a week or so ahead of time. After this, please try to get mama kitty spayed.

I got two new kittens 3 weeks ago and they were 8 weeks old when i got them and i honestly know that letting them gone any earlier than that is to young to be taken away from there mother.
good luck

About 6 weeks, they are getting independent at that age and can handle the stress of leaving their mother better. At that age they should be weaned and eating kitten food, and know about the litter box

although a lot of people sell kittens at 6 weeks old, waiting until they are 8 weeks is a wiser choice. they will me more phisically as well as mentally ready to be separated from mom. also wean them onto food BEFORE giving them away, waiting until they are 8 weeks should give you plenty of time.
NOTE: NEVER EVER separate before 6 weeks!!

If you bring kittens into the world, they are your responsibility to care for. I would keep them and FOR GOD SAKE GET THEM SPAYED AND NUETERED!!! Don't give them to the Humane Society, that will lead to many of them being killed (not all kittens are adopted) and is so mean of you, since it is your fault your cat had kittens. Please stop being irresponsible and don't have any more kittens you are not going to keep. You are obviously not a true cat lover, just like to enjoy them no matter what happens to them in return. Please don't let these kittens get killed, and stop procreating if you don't have good homes lined up.
