how can i unsubscribe my credit card.they have not listed it in FAQ's and their customer care personnel is not helpful

There is nothing like " unsubscribe" a card. I presume that you are not interested in using the card any more.
Just call the customer care executive and inform that you are not interested in using it any further. Ask them to discontinue the services with immediate effect.
Also, ensure ensure that you have paid all the dues ( which you feel are legitimate)
Lastly, ensure that they send you a written statement confirming that the card has been cancelled.

if they are not doing it over phone just write a letter to them and mail it by registered post. have a copy of it with you. That way they have to close your account and will not be able to give any excuses.
I am assuming you have paid all the pending dues from your side.

1)Send credit card -CUT IN TWO PICES -BY COURIRER (Acknowledgement Due) to its Main Office
2)send a UCP letter (under certificate of posting)to the banks computer centre at Andheri(East) saying you are cancelling your card .
3)SEND A COPY TO MD ICICI BANK AT REGISTERED OFFICE OF THE BANK UNDER U.C.P.

4)send a copy under UCP to RBI ombudsman
5)send email at banks emailaddress

If you are not inteested to run the cedit card, then, pl, do destroy the card & deposit any atm counter of icici bank, with a letter, that you are not interested to bear this card at present. thanks.

break your card in 4 piece & enclose with written application to the card company with the reason why you are surendre it. good luck.
