Do we have a living saint today? Or a good guy needs first to die before being a saint.

Paul, in writing to those in the Church at Ephesus called them saints. Saints are "holy ones", those set apart by God as His special people through faith in Jesus Christ.

according to us protestants, anyone who believes in Christ and accepts his gift of salvation is a saint. the Apostle Paul refered to all 1st century Christians as saints. you dont have to perform a bunch of miricels die a myartor to be a saint. therefore, why do people pray to saints? they didnt die on the cross did they?

We were taught all of us are Angels.
There is no proof that someone was one hundred percent when made into a saint my fellow human beings.Angels yes, the doctor who took care of me as a child when we had no money to pay him. The old man who told us stories so our lives can change for the better.The lady in the school cafeteria
who stood they with a smile day in and day out and made your day.These are the Angels who will never receive sainthood.

Paul refers to Believers in the Church being "saints" frequently.
If you are a believer, you are a saint.

The Bible refers to all believers in Jesus Christ as saints. the Catholics have picked out certain ones to honor, but they hold no higher position than I do in Jesus' eyes.

All that are saved by Jesus Christ and followers of Jesus Christ are the Saints. "Saints" is simply another word for "followers" or "believers" in Jesus Christ.
