just think like this...its only going to take a few sec as soo as your done the pain would be gone...i know this because i had my back done 8 times twice..and all i thought was its only going to hurt for a sec...now tattos on the other hand
its a whole new pain

Cartilage don't hurt because there's less skin. You will feel the pressure but not pain. Also the healing should be faster than the lobe.

There is definitely pain involved-more pain than an ear lobe piercing, but less pain than a tattoo.
The pain will be worth it. You will love it!! Good luck and be sure to take good care of it-an infection is more painful than the piercing itself.

piercing the cartilage doesn't hurt anymore than the lobe.

To me it hurt way less than the lobe. If you can handle the lobe, you can handle cartilage.

Way more than your lobe. Your lobe skin isn't as delicate and is "fat skin." But your cartilage is more delicate and is very "thin skin." It's much more sensitive.

personally i think the lobes didn't hurt that much.. my first cartilidge piercing didn't hurt at all! but the second one that i got right beside it, KILLED. probably cause i got it done together.. lol

I've done it 2 times... mine got infected both times..ranodmly... but it didn't hurt all that much.. like a bee sting... hurts to sleep on that side of your head... other then that... notn really.......... just keep it very clean... and if it does get infected.. take it out! if you dont you could end up having to have a piece cut out of your ear... you dont want a funkey nibbled looking ear...

it doesnt hurt when you first get it right then but it will be sore later on.

yes cause there's nerves in it. in the bottom, it's a lot of fat, but not up top
