An endless journey of experiences through countless physical incarnations learning and expanding the knowledge of the soul ?

Always wondered why people assume that if a person believes in reincarnation it automatically precludes the believe in God. Just because one does not share their believe in who and what God is.

Why is it then that one of the greatest foundations of science is that energy is never created or destroy and is merely transformed.
Is everything not composed of energy including us?

Don't listen to the a s sholes in here babe.

Yes, it is an example of eternal life.

The only thing that differs is, once you reach atonement after coming back and correcting ALL mistakes, thats when you reach the Summerlands.

Remember one thing though...the possibilities are endless.

The proof of reincarnation (to me) is the cycle of the seasons.
Things die off in the fall, and come back in the spring, and the process repeats.

It depends on what you beleive. Hindus beleive in reincarnation, but it not forever. They beleive you are reincarnated until you acheive Nirvana, and then you are buried in a water grave in the Gagnes River. This may 7 or 8 cycles, sometimes more, and it is said before you leave one life, a little bird comes to you in your sleep and tells you what you will be in your next life.
Thank You World Cultures class!

Of course this also depends on what you personally beleive, I am a Christian, so I beleive that you have one chance on Earth, so you shouldn't blow it.

Yeah it would be, if that actually happened. How many people do you know that have actually been reincarnated? Another manmade myth with no substance. There are far more people alive today than have been alive since the beginning of time, so does that mean new souls are being created all the time?

Reincarnation is an outright lie from the devil to give people false hope. Resurrection power through Jesus Christ is the only real hope.

EDIT: I see by the thumbs down that truth isn't popular on this question. Believe the lie all you want but truth doesn't change because you wish it would. WHILE WE HAVE ENERGY MY DEAR, WE ARE NOT 'COMPOSED' OF ENERGY. We are flesh and blood and bones, and that entity holds our soul and spirit which energizes our body and keeps it functioning.

Since I am a spiritual being and understand spiritual truth the findings of science on energy are not substantive proof of your claim.

EDIT: Tianru - To quote you - "The proof of reincarnation (to me) is the cycle of the seasons. Things die off in the fall, and come back in the spring, and the process repeats."

THIS IS THE GREAT PROOF OF GOD'S CREATIVE GENIUS, AND THE DYING AND COMING BACK TO LIFE IS HIS REFLECTION OF THE
RESURRECTION OF HIS SON. The big hole in your idea is that everything that resurrects comes back as the same thing.

Yes. And if you never die that's also an example of eternal life.

Unfortunately, your soul doesn't go to the Big Rock Candy Heaven and it doesn't get reincarnated and people don't live forever. Of the three possible eternal lives, living forever is at least theoretically possible.

You've got one life and after that life you die. That's it. Death after life, not life after death. Make the most of it.

No .... Not really ......

Part 1 ..... Show that there is a soul thing.

Part 2 ..... When was the last time you remembered what happened during your past life?

Part 3 ..... There is no such thing as eternal, everything is created and destroyed.

No, that would be called "reincarnation" which is part of the superstitious mindset's belief system. The real deal is that when you die, the next stage is Judgement at the Throne of the Eternal One, Jesus Christ. I know, I know- that darn, meany, nasty, intolerant, non-accepting book called the Bible just isn't fair.

"It is appointed unto men to die once; after this the Judgement"- Hebrews

Show me a soul. Show me reincarnation. These things are myths and believing in them as real is foolish.

I do consider that an example of eternal life and even an after life.

I certainly have it included in my possibilities for what may be after my death.
