why do so many people despise others for smoking.

Because they've been fed lies about how horrible it is....which they don't bother to find out whether it is the truth or not.
Of course, it may also be because it is still illegal, and many people like for others to obey the laws, even if they don't all make sense.

If you're referring to marijuana, I think it is less likely to be despised than actual tobacco. To me, the legislators ought quit "pussy footin" around and just put cigarettes in the same category as marijuana, i.e., just plain make it against the law instead of banning it in all public places.

Why do bad when it is just as easy or easier to good good. What is the "pull" to the wrong side of the law and health? Stay clean and stay healthy. You smoke MJ and soon you will want more "kick". Then the "hard stuff" appears on the scene and away you go..........down, down, down. Pops
