It is normal for birds to lay unfertilized eggs. Just like chickens where we get our eggs to eat from. They are not fertilized.
It is like having a Menstrual cycle. Just discard it so she won't get an attachment to it. If you notice that she stops laying eggs, you will need to take her to a vet , sometimes, it stays in and can cause infections.

It's Normal,
Unlike Chickens Cockatiels Only Lay A Few Eggs Each Clutch, So If She Laid 3-5ish Eggs That's Her Full Clutch, You Should Get About That Same Number In About 6 Months From Now Too When She Lays Her Next Clutch.
She May Start To Brood Them Now That She's Done Laying (Brood = Sit On Them & Wait For Them To Hatch)
She Most Likely Doesn't Understand That Their's Not Babies In Them, If She Laid Them All In One Spot.
Give Her A Cuttlebone For Calcium, Since She Lost Alot Making The Egg Shells.

Hi there. Since egg laying is so stressful and takes a toll on the body, it is good that she stopped. Egg laying requires more protein, nutrients especially calcium. Nutritionally deficient hens will experience shorter lifespans. Chronic egg laying can lead to being egg bound where the egg is stuck in the cloaca and most birds will die from this. If she starts up, give her her usual pellet food, 10% seed and 10-20% fruits and veggies and add cooked chicken egg with the crumbled shell (calcium) for the extra nutrition needed. Make sure she gets 12 hours of darkness every evening. Most birds need 10-12 hours of darkness daily anyway. Longer light hours can trigger a hormonal response that increases egg laying. If it gets out of control, your vet can give a drug like Depo Provera to make her stop. Birds are not mammals (like us) and the cycles are different. Leave the egg there until she loses interest. If removed too soon, birds have a survival instinct to produce more eggs from those lost to predators. Use your good judgment as to whether you have a problem or not. Have a Happy Mother's Day be it for you, your mom, or both.

Its fairly normal for cockatiels and budgies to lay a few eggs even without a mate, and they will often sit on them for the time it normally takes to hatch. Then they will clean out the eggs and may be a bit depressed. Sometimes though they lose interest and abandon the eggs. If she does that you can remove them after a few days .
Make sure she has a mineral block or cuttlefish for the extra calcium.

You should leave the eggs in the cage for a few weeks. If you take them away, it may cause her to keep laying eggs, which can lead to calcium deficiency. Chronic egg laying can become a problem in female cockatiels. Make sure she has a good diet that includes pellets and fresh foods.

Yes. All birds will lay eggs then skip a day. I has to do when the lutenizing hormone and follicle stimulating hormone is released. Her clutch (amount of eggs layed consecutively) will vary with age. I bet she usually lays the eggs in the afternoon, that is because the LH is released at night when it is dark. This release gets pushed back about an hour or so each night. Eventually it gets pushed back enough that is will not be released because it is light.
It is all perfectly normal.

you mean she was in the process of laying it? Or laid it and its not fertialized?
If so the egg is dead and needs to be disposed of. If she cant lay the egg then get her to a vet asap.
The bird will go through some distachment...i recommend getting something like a rock thats egged shapped to keep with her till shes over it....or a fake egg.
