A character in one of my stories is a Russian immigrant, who comes to know and eventually fall in love with an American girl. I would like to know some endearments that he might use once they were a serious couple. She has red hair, so something along the lines of "my little fox" or "foxy girl" or something like that, would fit the story best, but any and all endearments are appreciated! Thanks!

The word for red (krasni or krasnaya) in Russian is equivalent to the word for beauty (krasivi or krasivaya) in some cases. The words for red fox are "krasnaya leesa." Or my dear fox would be "maya meelaya leesa." But if you say my dear little one it is fixed in the masculine gender as "moy malinkee". I also like the word for nightingale, which is "calibri", or "sandugach" in Tatar. Sorry, I'm sleepy now.

"Ryjaia", means "red headed"
"Moia ryjaia lisichka"= My little red fox.
