Wow, what an ignorant statement. First of all, you're assuming that you have any idea what a christian is. A christian is someone who has denied themself, believed in Jesus as their only hope for salvation from the Judgement of God, repented of their sins and now exists to serve Jesus through trying to be like him in every way they possibly can. Kirk Cameron loves people and loves Jesus so much he's willing to give his life to making sure that everyone he meets has a chance to know about Jesus and why it is so important to seek him, usually the only thanks he gets is people like you throwing it back in his face.
Did you see the debate with the rational responders squad on Nightling the other night? I went to the "rational" website after that and was amazed to see several atheists on the blog mention that they were impressed with how Kirk and Ray handled themselves as well as the Christian side of the audience but apalled at how poorly the atheist side behaved and questioned the Christians.
If you're so insecure that you have to go find ways to hate those who bring conviction just by stating the truth then e-mail me and ask questions, you can hate me instead of bashing Kirk Cameron on Yahoo answers. At least I will respond and will do my best to answer any questions you may have. Of course, if you're too afraid of the truth you could always take potshots at those who have found the life you've always wanted.

No.
I just think he is a washed up child actor trying to cash in on the Evangelical gravy train. If he didn't come across as such an immature, uncertain, slightly slow, git he might stand a chance.
Partnering with Ray Comfort does nothing to help him.
Edit:
Unfortunately for everybody interested in the debate, tube root has a point this time.

I just think it's hilarious that Nightline had HIM as the representative Christian... ROFLMAO! Him?? What, they didn't want the Christian side to be taken seriously? The guy is one of those creepy nutty types who at some point in his life apparently snapped.
I'm sorry...there is NORMAL believers, who I have no issue with, but then there are the creepy ones like him that make both believers and nons uneasy, like a cult leader is out to get them and you just want to get the heck away from him. Those types feel like a psychological invasion of personal space.

Just delusional. Believing that crocoducks are necessary for evolution is pretty twisted, given the number of nonexistent creatures in the Bible.

As a Christian, I'm embarrassed and ashamed to have Kirk Cameron a member of my religion. I'm thinking of converting to Atheism because of him.

I don't think he's evil. I think he's a good person, and he has good intentions. I think he really believes strongly in what he's talking about.
I also think he's misguided, and he's terrible at "proving" the existence of God without using faith or the Bible, like they claimed they could, and he was REALLY bad at arguing against evolution, but I don't think he's evil at all. I wish the best for him.

He seems like an alright guy. Unfortunately, though, his arguments against evolution are absolutely horrible.

evil? He was just trying to tell why He believes there is a God. We all have our own reasons why we believe, some are the same, and some are different
